So I've been getting back into speedrunning this game but when I watched the number 1 speedrun for 200k I saw that the spring almost immediately shot the penguin up. Whenever I try to speedrun the game, the screen shakes a bunch and doesn't do anything for like 0.4 seconds then slowly shoots off and this makes me lose like half a second or more every time I get shot off the spring. Is there like an option I am missing or is my game just broken.

Do you have max bonus? Are you using fast forward (press f after buying time warp from the black market)?

yeah i have/am doing both of those. Maybe its my computer lagging. Also the penguin is in the like top right of the screen, is there any way to center him?

If you're still using the kongregate version of the game like in your 4M pb, try running on steam and see if that fixes your issue.

no, i switched to the steam version and its still doing it

actually the spring was normal in the kongregate version but not on steam its being weird

I know why it's doing that. It seems that whenever you are not in full-screen mode on steam the game just doesn't like it and places the penguin in the wrong place for some reason.

just use sling lol :)
