Actually there are no different running versions of the game. Just different data sets. You will find two different LOTUS.DAT file :

LOTUS.DAT - 1.265.153 byte : This version is dated 15 September 1993. When you exit from the game, game types "Lotus III Version 15/09/93" on text screen and exits. This version correctly works with Livesplit Autosplitter.

LOTUS.DAT - 1.337.856 byte : This version is dated 14 July 1993. When you exit from the game, game types "Lotus III Version 14/07/93" on text screen and exits. This version doesn't work with Livesplit Autosplitter.

LOTUS.EXE : You will probably find 4992 byte exe file or 4997 byte exe file. Both works same.
