So I've been working on a general route for 100% for fun mostly but I planned on doing a run at some point. Life has kinda gotten in the way recently so I never finished it but when I saw RiiDOLSK's notes for collectibles% I remembered and thought I may as well share what I have done so far with the community to hopefully give a starting point if nothing else. I'll post it all a little later if there is some interest in it.
It looks nice. I think Collectables% is much easier as 100% , because the 3 star ranks. I hope we can help the community.
Actually it's not that bad, I only got the first 4 worlds routed I think but I could get 3 star on all of the levels on the first run through each while getting all the collectibles and boos.
Yeah, I only just recently added collectables% as a category because I finished my route (notes). I was debating the name for a while, and decided to call it that. Now I realize that collectibles is a spelling that exists, and I don't know which spelling to use. :/ I'm hoping to do a run of it very soon. I know that I certainly want to do a run of this category before doing the hundo with the three star madness in it too. I don't have anything for the route for that yet, so any resources you have made would be more than I have.
Huh, interesting... I have been keeping records of my own (like crazy), and I believe that yours are a little off in places... multiplying the time by 60 like that does not work. Here are my records. Oh it's only multiplied by 60 so that I can put it down in (mins).(secs), since the game gives you times in that format, as opposed to converting it to seconds manually every time since that's what the formula asks for. A time of 5:30 would be multiplied by 60 anyways (5.30¤60) to get the time in seconds as an example.
Well, a time of 5min 30sec would be 330 seconds. 5.5 ¤ 60 = 330 Time is silly like that. Not as dumb as the US customary measurement system though :P

Ok, so here is a pretty major question as far as categories go: what should the requirements be for the 100% category? I know that I have already made the 100% category and have even made collectables%, but I want you guys to just ignore what those categories are and just tell me what you think 100% should be for this game. I am having a hard time deciding some things.
I think the main Thing why nobody runs 100% is the 3 star ranks ( and maybe the " have at least every kind of ghost once " thing ) But the difinition is really ok. There is nothing wrong i guess. So i prefer to run All Collectables% cuz there are the 3 star rank not there OneHand
Ok, I've done some reading https://forum.speeddemosarchive.com/post/low100_definitions.html I am deciding now that 3 stars is not a requirement for 100%. The ghosts are also not a requirement for 100% The only things required are: all upgrades, gems, and boos
I see that not all games lend themselves to 100% well. Things need to be cut sometimes, and I am deciding/ suggesting that getting 3 stars on every level and defeating every enemy (ghost) is not really a necessary element of this game to achieve 100% completion in the single player story mode. Everything besides the new requirements I am suggesting is an "extra objective" that really does not complete this game more in terms of collection.
A complete ghost container could be source to debate as a requirement, but there is only one ghost from the story that can not be caught (gold greenie). The story mode part of the ghost container is always complete at the end of any run, so it is such a small detail that it does not matter.
The scarescraper ghosts would never have anything to do with a category that does not specifically include the scarescraper.
Wow, I am rambling now, but this information/ opinion is kinda necessary-ish when we are making categories. Basically now, anything that has been put towards collectables% will now be 100%. As for old 100%, if anyone really wants to see some of it's requirements really return, they can suggest a new category.
Final overall question: Do you think that these are good new requirements for 100%?

I personnaly think that 3 star should not be a requirement for the run. It requires litteraly no mistakes and it doesn't really give you anything all that important. I agree with RiiDOLSK it should just be all upgrades,gems and Boos.

The requirements hears fine for me. So then it doesn´t hears hard to run for me cuz the hardest thing aren´t now a requirement any more.
Do you remember at the Level that you can play if you have all Boos in one " Chapter " have? My Question to this is: Have we do this Level? It is this Level where you have to capture a lot of Ghosts i mean ( i mean not E-5 OpieOP )

No, the bonus missions are not required to do. You can still do them if you want :P The only thing that they would contribute to is the 3 stars which is not a requirement anymore.
While I was playing around with the gem routing I found you could get 3-star on every level on your first run while still collecting the gems and boos, they don't require perfection on every level just a little more practice and knowledge of the formula that calculates it and since you need a lot of money for the upgrades anyways getting the amounts you need for 3-star makes it pretty easy to do both at the same time. Also to my knowledge you have to capture at least one of every ghost in a normal playthrough anyways.
So , i have only to do the normal Missions , collect all Gems and Boos and 20.000G for the Upgrades. Hopefull i don´t forget something.
So that means the new 100% would be all gems, all boos and all upgrades? Asking because I'm planning to do a run OpieOP
