this route uses the first lamp to light up a ledge near the cutscene area, then some finnicky double-jumps in order to make it across the gap straight up to the button.
๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ฉ๐ฌ: โฃ walk out and press the button to request the lamp, standing on the rail so that you can pick it up as earlier as possible. โฃ drop the lamp to the right facing the edge of the cutscene platform. where you place the lamp is a matter of risk - if you drop the lamp early and light less of the highlighted outcrop, the next jump will be made more difficult, with the advantage of being able to walk faster for a short while with empty hands.
โฃ hop over the fence, across the pit and land at the bottom of the rocky outcrop. if you land this jump correctly, you should start slowly sliding up to the top of the rock, gaining vertical speed.
โฃ as you hit the top of the outcrop, double jump to launch yourself upwards with the speed you've gained from sliding up the rock. push up against the rail to "boost" yourself for a little extra height, before landing on top of the crates above. try to keep your second jump input as late as possible in order to guarantee maximum vertical momentum.
โฃ hit that button. success! invite everyone around to bathe in the excitement whilst you wait for virgil to Get To The Fucking Point, then leave through the now-open exit door.
๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐: โข with a single jump you can land on top of the railing, which leaves you with a lot of ground to slide around on, but seemingly no solid ground to use to gain another jump. this is frustratingly close to making this a possible jump in nmg and would save a lot of time if performed, so further experimentation is needed!
