For Acolyte runs, having Wandering Spirits as up as much as possible is hugely beneficial to the run.

If you don't know what NumPad Locking is, it's where you assign some ability or key to be on the NumPad. You then turn NumLock on, hold down the number you assigned and then turn NumLock off. This keeps the number you pressed held down within certain games.

If you go to Options, there will be a large button saying "Keybindings". Click on that. You will notice that next to your abilities there will be 2 columns; one is filled with QWER and the other is blank.

These are your primary and secondary keybinds.

Let's say you normally have Wandering Spirits assigned to the R key. In the column next to this ability, click the empty spot and press one of the buttons in your Number Pad. If you've done this correctly, you should get something saying "NumPad 1" in the second column (if you used 1).

Now you can cast this ability either with R or with NumPad 1 (if you used 1).

On your NumPad, make sure NumLock is ON (there should be a light). Hold down whichever NumPad number you assigned Wandering Spirits to and, while still holding down this button, turn OFF NumLock.

Congrats! If you did this correctly, Wandering Spirits will auto-cast whenever it is off cooldown and has the Mana to do so.

NOTE: if you tab out of Last Epoch, you will need to redo the NumLock process again.
