Step 1 The tools If you want to start speedrunning is the following tools you need

• FightCade (obviously)
• The Rom (you can get the rom here https://bvoo.xyz/hftf download JSON's Files then extract them inside fightcade/Emulator)
• A recorder (something like obs)
• Live Split (This is optional but it is really good to use when creating a speedrun)
• A editing Software (If you cant use live split you can use a built in timer from your editing software)

Step 2 Settings Menu for JJBA HFTF When you launch the game make sure your keybinds are correct then press f2 to open a menu Once you open the menu go to your 7th Option and then the 2nd option inside you will find AI, Health, Damage, and round settings make sure to use this picture to help you change these settings (https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/804471551709675560/804481313704771645/unknown.png?width=500&height=349) If you are done editing the settings make sure to save it afterwards and press f3 to restart your game

Step 3 Finding, Timing, and Uploading Runs This is the 2nd to last step to start speedrunning Once you find a character you want to speedrun with try to practice and watch other WR's to get better with the character so you can get a fast time Timing with live split and the game can be tough but with enough practice you can time your runs If you got these done make sure you upload to YOUTUBE

Step 4 Submitting a run to SpeedRun If you have your video all setup go to your character section and then submit your run and answer the following

• The Category (If you do this in FightCade make sure you make it Arcade)
• The User (ignore)
• Your time (make sure to fill this in), (h = hour m = minute s = seconds)
• Region (This is depending on your Emulator Region), (by default it will be set to Japan on your system)
• Platform (its the same as category check Emulator)
• The Date (ignore unless you did your run in another day
• Video Link (make sure you also uploaded your run to YouTube)
• Splits (Optional)
• Description (Make sure you add in your Emulator Version and any other notes that the mod needs to know)

Step 5 Finish Good job submitting your first run now all you need to do is for the mods review your run and accept your run good luck speedrunning
