This guide will show you all the treasure locations with a short written commentary on how to reach them. It will also show a difficulty rating which expresses how hard it is to find/reach the treasure without hints. Treasures are presented in the order in which it is believed you are likely to find them when playing the level the intended way.
Treasure 1 - Silver Idol
Commentary: The first treasure is found in the temple near the crate containing the 50 Amp Fuse. Go through the entrance and turn left. Shoot the explosives you come across to reveal a Silver Idol in the rubble.

Treasure 2 - Blue Gem
Commentary: In the same temple as the last treasure, turn right instead of left and crawl underneath the fallen column, then turn right and go up on the platform. Climb past the crates to your left to find a Blue Gem lying in the darkness.

Treasure 3 - Blue Gem
Commentary: This is treasure is found in the pit full of snakes that you pass right after the cutscene where Volodnikov and the Russians enter the mines. Exit the cart at the earliest possible opportunity and backtrack a bit to collect the Blue Gem lying there.

Treasure 4 - Blue Gem
Commentary: Stop near the sign number 4 and go behind the large column to find a Blue Gem lying on the floor.

Treasure 5 - Green Gem
Commentary: Stop near the sign number 2 and look back in the direction you came from. You will find a Green Gem lying on the floor right next to the wall.

Treasure 6 - Red Gem
Commentary: This one is found in the room which you can access by reversing back a dead-end branch of the rail system. Jump into the water and swim towards the waterfalls, then turn right. You will find a Red Gem lying on the floor.

Treasure 7 - Green Gem
Commentary: In the same pool of water as the previous treasure, swim through the hole in the wall. You will see a white stone grate in front of you. In front of that grate lies a Green Gem.

Treasure 8 - Gold Idol
Commentary: Still in the same water cave as the previous treasure, swim right from the white stone grate until you come across three stone blocks that have fallen out of the ceiling. Swim up and climb through the opening to find a hidden room with an altar which hold a Gold Idol.

Treasure 9 - Red Gem
Commentary: This treasure is found in the second water cave system of this level which is usually accessed through a hole which the Russians create when shooting their bazookas around during a cutscene. Swim through the caves and keep your eye to the left side. Eventually, you will come across a niche with a Red Gem. The gem can be easy to miss, especially on the N64 as the underwater effects make the gem blend in with the rocks.

Treasure 10 - Green Gem
Commentary: The final treasure can be found in the dead-end part of the mines behind the broken rail and the large chasm. After you whip across the chasm, follow the rail to the end until you come across a corpse and a Green Gem.
