I've been watching a few of you guys run. Haven't had time to rout myself or mess with this game but will soon hopefully, am excited, still playing on the PS4 sadly because I like trophies (got my plat) but I might get this for the PC....I'd still use a controller though, would it be easier to just use a keyboard instead?
I'm just going through notes and stuff, as i am considering learning. For some cutscenes especially at the beginning, would it be better to try to line yourself up to the "Cutscene" position before running into them? To avoid the extra Movement? Or doesn't it matter to much? Thanks!
Hey I don't know where to post this, but I know of a exploit that lets you walk freely in world map so you can skip locations and stuff, but the thing is that this exploit works using a PS3 controller, and you need to use a third party program to use your controller with your PC, so is this legal?
Have you got video of this glitch? Technically using RemoteJoy to use a PS3 controller isnt against the rules. But im not a mod, so its not really my call.
Look I'm currently working full time, so I'm too tired to make a vid, but I'll explain it, I use the software "Better DS3" that allows me to play with my PS3 controller with a USB cable, the trick is easy... while in world map or any kind of map(inside locations) you just move towards a direction and keep holding the directional button, then unplug and plug the controller, and it will let you bypass trees, rocks, sea, etc.
So yeah that's it.
It sounds like a pretty interesting glitch, but since the glitch is dependent on using third party software I'm not really sure it should be allowed in the speedrun.
I've been busy traveling for work on contracts in the last six months but finally things are slowing down. Gonna try to pick this up again :D
