100% Video Tutorial (2020)

This is a tutorial of the 100% category that's up to date as of January 2020. The run has evolved a lot in a very short time due to recent discoveries that have been made, so the old 2017 Written Guide is a bit outdated.

This tutorial is meant to be a useful introduction for any new runners who may be interested in the category. I hope it helps anyone who may want to pick up 100%!

CLODY SKIP SETUP (2019) (WRITTEN)

[section=Intro]
**(FIRST DRAFT OF THE GUIDE, WILL BE UPDATED LATER)**

For as long as we can remember, Clody skip has been one of the last and worst potential run killers. That era is now over.
During practice at ESA 2019, I had a hard time making Harry run perfectly straight with the analog stick (previously necessary for this skip), so I sat down with StarrlightSims and we started looking for a setup, once again. We found a great setup which was used during the marathon run which got the trick first try. But just as we had recorded the videos for the guide and I was about to write this guide, StarrlightSims found a dpad setup for the last part. Thanks to that, Clody skip is now 100% consistent. The strat used in the marathon is still here in the guide though, as it is faster.

[section=Tutorial]
**STEP 1**
As you enter the room and skip Quirrels monologue, hold **UP + RIGHT** on the dpad.

**STEP 2**
Before the green energy ball gets too close to the last knight on the right, press **START**. Keep pause-buffering **UP + RIGHT** until you see one of these two frames:

If you see the first frame, simply hold **UP** and unpause. If you see the second frame, pause-buffer two frames of **UP + LEFT**, then hold **UP** and unpause.

**STEP 3 DPAD ONLY (StarrlightSims)**
Run all the way to the ledge and pause before Harry jumps. Pause-buffer **UP** until you see Harry bow down (because he's about to jump), after you see that, give it 4 more frames of **UP**.
Now, do 1 frame of **R2 + UP** and finally hold **UP** and unpause. Harry will grab the ledge.

**STEP 3 ANALOG (Faster)**
Run all the way to the ledge and pause right after Harry jumps. While paused, switch to the analog stick and hold it up but slightly to the left, and unpause. Harry will grab the ledge.

EASY FAST VOLDEMORT SETUP (2019) (WRITTEN)

[section=Intro]
While practicing for the ESA 2019 run, I attempted to learn what DylWingo does in his PB in regards to fast Voldemort. While failing miserably, I noticed that Harry was literally unable to be hit by anything when standing right in front of the mirror. That then led me to discover this new, so simple and easy setup.

Shoutouts to PurpleSun for figuring out that we could respawn the same pillars, laying the groundwork for the strat back in 2015. Also shoutouts to Redhot and Whip for their work too on the setups before.

Side note: I haven't yet tested whether taking damage on the first hit could make this faster/ruin anything. So far it's just an "easier" setup. I think it matches the speed of the current setup, but I'm not sure yet.

[section=Tutorial]
**STEP 1**
Hold **RIGHT** until Harry touches the mirror.

**STEP 2**
Charge a full flipendo.

**STEP 3**
Wait for the green energy projectile to vanish, then tap **LEFT** a couple of times (to allow space for the flipendo to be cast without being blocked by mirror) and immediately shoot.

**STEP 4**
Keep shooting fully charged flipendos whenever you hear Voldemorts "uuggh". The last shot you fire should be when his health looks like this:

Which is exactly 6 hits.

**STEP 5 (OPTIONAL)** (Shoutouts to Nanonym for contributing this step)
**NOTE: Risk of softlocking if not careful!**
After the last flipendo, before the game moves on to phase 2 of the fight, charge another flipendo and position yourself at the edge of the round floor pattern, like so (you should be able to slightly see Voldemort to the left):

After Voldemort stops moving, shoot the flipendo at the mirror. If you timed it correctly, the mirror should now be ready early for the second phase. If you're not far enough from the mirror, Harry might auto-face the pillar behind Voldemort, and if you hit that again, the game might softlock, so be careful if you go for this.

After this, proceed with the fight normally.

[section=Final notes]
**I will update this step after further investigation. Often, if I shoot one more time at this point (but right before he says "uuggh", when the flipendo is done charging), the game doesn't softlock, and the next phase begins immediately, with Voldemort standing right in front of the mirror, ready to receive damage.**

So, if done correctly, you simply walk to the mirror, and shoot until the next phase begins, and Voldemort will still be in front of the mirror.

To Early Input, press and hold the first input just when Harry's wand leaves the bottom of the screen.
/!\ Update : you just have to hold the first input for it to be automaticly pressed when the QTE starts.

To do that Fast Incendio, you have to press 2 inputs in a row, the first just before entering the circle, and the second just before leaving it. The timing can be a bit confusing, since you can't input too fast (about 0,2/3s between both inputs).

FIRE SEED SKIP GUIDE (WRITTEN)

[section=Intro]
Over a year has passed since it was discovered by *PurpleSunDeryl* that we could in fact completely betray Hagrid, and leave his fire seeds behind for good, changing the whole story by never cracking the dragon egg and saving 5+ minutes. Either by carefully climbing the trees and finally jumping through them, or by trespassing the roof of Hagrids hut for a final jump over the fence. Super hype that it's possible, but unfortunately, these methods were all extremely unrealiable because of how precise the ledge grabbing works on the tree geometry. This was pretty much TAS only, but luckily, after many many hours, I've managed to find a consistent setup that will work everytime, given you execute it correctly.

STEP 8 wasn't really 100% consistent anyway, so I realised that we should revive the Hagrid's roof route. It's now added and recommended for STEP 8 as it's 100% consistent. I updated the video as well.

I've realised that STEP 7 can sometimes be a bit random. Random whether you get the grab or not. I find that almost everytime, I still get the skip within the 5 minute margin anyway, but I'm working to make this step more consistent, and you can help too!

[section=Full tutorial]
**STEP 1**
First thing you want to do is run directly to the corner with the acute angle, closest to the wooden gate. When you're in the corner, make sure you press **L2** until the camera stops when hitting the wall (trees) and then continue to walk into the corner shortly. Your view should look like this:

**STEP 2**
Before the camera auto adjusts, press triangle to aim. Move the crosshair to the left until it's exactly at this spot:

Look for the edge of the crosshair to touch the lower right corner of the black pixel, like illustrated below. It's important that the crosshair does not exceed the corner. The black pixel must remain completely to the left of the crosshair border. It may overlap a little, but non of the black pixel should be visible to the right of the crosshair edge. Try to aim for what you see in the picture below.

**STEP 3**
Press triangle again to stop aiming, and now proceed to holding **RIGHT** using the d-pad into the acute angle. Harry will slowly walk towards the outer wall. Once you start seeing his leg pass through the wall, press pause.

**STEP 4**
Since Harry is moving through the outer wall slowly, he will eventually reach the edge of the floor which causes the auto jump mechanic to kick in. Harry will jump, and this jump is the main reason why this skip is possible. We need to press **LEFT** on the d-pad the last frame right before the jump. To do this, you must pause-buffer and go one frame at a time. You do this by pressing **X + START** very quickly after eachother. Begin with **X** and then **START** super quickly. This will advance the game one frame at a time. Do this until you see Harry bowing down slightly, because he's about to jump. The last frame you see will look like this:

You will only be able to see it for one frame though, so you have to focus on Harry while pause-buffering. NOTE: If you pause-buffer one or two frames too long, the next step usually works anyway.

**STEP 5**
We're now paused after you saw that frame of Harry being about to jump. All you have to do now, is hold **LEFT** on the d-pad and unpause. Harry should now jump and grab some geometry in the tree wall. If he doesn't, you probably aimed slightly too much to the left/right in STEP 3, or maybe it has to do with some sub pixel stuff. Just try again.

**STEP 6**
As soon as you got the grab after STEP 5, you should begin holding **X**. Shortly after Harry stands up, hold **UP**, then **UP+RIGHT**. When you're in the right corner (still holding **UP+RIGHT**), wait for the camera to stand perfectly still. Press pause while still holding all the buttons. While paused, let go of everything and unpause. This way, we make sure that you let go of all buttons at the exact same time. Right after unpausing, hold **R2** until the camera stops. You should now see exactly this:

**STEP 7**
Press pause, hold **DOWN**, quickly pause-buffer 1 frame (by pressing **X+START** VERY quickly after each other. I use my index finger for Start and my middle finger for X), then hold **DOWN+LEFT** and unpause. Harry should now run out of the trees, jump and grab some geometry further up.

**STEP 8**
Once you're standing in the trees, only Harry's shoes and the lower part of his cape should be visible. Hold **R2** until the camera stops. This is what you see:

For this step, you can either try the fast and risky jump through the trees, climbing above the trees or go to Hagrid's roof. ** I recommend going to Hagrid's roof** as it's 100% consistent.

**Hagrid's roof**
To go to Hagrid's roof, you can either pause-buffer the following steps or do them without. Doing them without is a 5 frame window (quite big). What you need to do is press **PAUSE**. Now pause-buffer 3 frames of holding **DOWN+RIGHT.** Now simply hold **LEFT** and unpause. Harry will grab some tree geometry. WHILE Harry is climbing this ledge, use **L2** to aim the camera so that you can easily steer Harry towards Hagrid's roof. Here's a good angle:

For the most part, after aiming roughly for Hagrid's roof with L2, you can just hold **DOWN** and Harry will land there. Just practice that a little. If you want 100000% consistency, then, instead of holding L2 as he climbs the last ledge, hold R2 all the way until the camera stops. Now simply hold LEFT and Harry will land on Hagrid's roof.

Now, when you're on top of Hagrid's hut, what you need to do is drop down right next to the chimney on the LEFT side. There's a small platform that you can stand on. From there, just aim the camera at the fence and jump right over it. You'll have to steer Harry a little mid-air, but it's not tight or anything. Simply practice a little and it'll be no problem.

**Over the trees**
*Credit goes to Nanonym for finding this pause-buffer method*

(This is the newest strat and not currently in the video above)
Now press pause. Now hold **DOWN+RIGHT** and pause-buffer 3 frames of this input. Then, hold Left and unpause. Harry should grab the trees. When Harry starts grabbing the trees, hold L2, and when the camera stops, hold UP. This should give you the last grab. From here, simply jump back in bounds.

**Fast but risky method**

**D-pad strat**
This one should be the most consistent, but still requires practice. You're essentially, kind of, doing the same we do with analog, but on d-pad it's easier to make quicker precise changes in direction. What you want to do, is start by holding **UP** for a very short period of time, then smoothly move your thumb down to **DOWN+LEFT.** I've written down some inputs on frames just to give you a better idea of what you're supposed to do. These are not precise, but something you can aim for:
Frames:
1: **Up**
2: **Up**
3: **Left**
4: **Left+Down**
5: **Left+Down**
6: **Left+Down**
7: **Left+Down**
8: **Up**

**Analog strat**
Here comes the last and hardest part. I recommend making a save state here so you can practice and program the inputs into your muscle memory. First hold **R2** to make sure the camera stops there. What you must do now, is move the analog stick in the following pattern:

If you look into it, you can see that the analog goes up to begin with, but only for a short while. It quickly goes over to moving left, then down and up again in a curvy motion. This jump has to be practiced.

[section=Short tutorial]
So the thought behind having a short tutorial is two things. Experienced players might not need a full in-depth tutorial, only the bones. Also, if you've learned this but left the game for some time and want to come back, it's easier to just read this short tutorial instead.

**STEP 1**
Get into the acute angle, hold **L2** until the camera stops, then move a little more into the acute angle.
Your view should look like this:

**STEP 2**
Aim your crosshair directly as shown below. The right edge of the crosshair must be very close to the lower right corner of the black pixel, but not overlap too much.

**STEP 3**
Cancel the aim and start walking into the acute angle by pressing **RIGHT** on the d-pad.

**STEP 4**
Pause-buffer until right before Harry jumps. Last frame you see should be Harry bowing down slightly, like so:

NOTE: This is not actually frame perfect, so if you pause-buffer one or two frames too long, the next step usually works anyway.

**STEP 5**
Hold **LEFT** and unpause. Harry should now grab some geometry in the trees above him.

**STEP 6**
Hold **X** as Harry is about to stand up. Hold **UP**, then **UP+RIGHT** to move Harry into the right corner. Now wait for the camera to stand completely still (still holding **UP+RIGHT**), then press pause. Release all buttons and unpause. Right after unpausing, hold **R2**.

**STEP 7**
Press pause. Hold **DOWN** and pause-buffer 1 single frame. Now hold **DOWN+LEFT** and unpause. Harry should grab the tree geometry.

**STEP 8**
**Hagrid's hut**
Hold **R2** until the camera stops. Either pause-buffer or go without (5 frame window). Pause-buffer 3 frames of **DOWN+RIGHT.** Now hold **LEFT** and unpause. Harry now gets a grab on some tree geometry. While he climbs, use **L2** to aim the camera so that you have an easy angle for Hagrid's roof. Here's an example:

When you have about this angle, just hold **DOWN** and you'll jump to Hagrid's roof. For 10000% consistency, use R2 instead as he jumps until the camera stops, and then just hold LEFT to land on the roof.

Next, drop down to the LEFT of his chimney, there's a small platform you can stand on. From there, aim the camera at the fence and jump right over it. You'll have to steer Harry a little mid-air, but it should be easy after a little practice.

**Over the trees**
*Credit goes to Nanonym for finding this pause-buffer method*

Begin by holding **R2** until the camera stops, then press pause. Now hold **DOWN+RIGHT** and pause-buffer 3 frames of this input. Then, hold Left and unpause. Harry should grab the trees. When Harry starts grabbing the trees, hold L2, and when the camera stops, hold UP. This should give you the last grab. From here, simply jump back in bounds.

**Fast but risky method**
*Saves about 15 seconds over the consistent method.*
**D-pad strat**
This one should be most consistent. Start by holding **UP** for a very short amount of time (2 frames or so), then move your thumb smoothly to **DOWN+LEFT.** Some unprecise inputs to give you an idea of what to aim for:
Frames:
1: **Up**
2: **Up**
3: **Left**
4: **Left+Down**
5: **Left+Down**
6: **Left+Down**
7: **Left+Down**
8: **Up**

**Analog strat**
Now for the final tricky jump. First, hold **R2** to stop the camera there. Move the analog in a curvy motion as illustrated here:

This requires some practice, so make yourself a save state and grind it until it's programmed into your muscle memory.

Fireseed Skip, Error Proof Frame-Skip and Ledge Jump.

This way of doing the FSS makes sure you cannot make an error while jumping onto the final tree, if you did not do a part of the skip right, there is a chance that you might fall from the tree without making the jump to hagrid's hut, however you can bypass this with the strat above.

[section=Explanation]
You're going to be doing two down right's, as you do not need to do three, then, when you are sure you grabbed onto the tree, you want to hold R2 until the camera stops, then, make harry go down and just a LITTLE BIT to the left, if you make harry go up too much, he will fall down, however this is fairly easy once you get the trick of it.


[section=Ledge Jump]
Aright, while doing this skip, you can actually end up on the ledge of Hagrid's Hut, however this jump is not recommended, as you can end up falling down, if you try to go to the right OR stopping in the middle of the jump, there is a chance you might end up on the ledge, however I am still testing this.

FIRST-PERSON EARLY SLOTH BRAIN GUIDE (WRITTEN)

[section=Intro]
This skip, also referred to as "Hedge clip", was originally found by *ThinksTheClown.* Purple and Auther has a faster setup, might even be easier than this one, but it's up to personal preference, what you use. They only use R2/L2.
**NOTE:** Now that we know the R2+L2 method of focusing the camera, this one is really close with the other setups.

**STEP 1**
Walk directly into the corner. Make sure Harry is pretty much in the middle. I aim for standing about below this area, with the camera angled roughly like so:

Aim so that the right edge of the crosshair strikes through the light brown pixel as shown below:

Cancel the aim and ~~wait for the camera to fully relax~~ press **L2** + **R2** to immediately set the camera in position. Then simply hold **UP** on the d-pad.

[section=Tutorial]
**STEP 1**
Go over to the right side of the bridge, close to the edge of the grass, and start moving left towards the bridge until the edge of the grass cuts through Harry's right foot. It doesn't have to be precise.

**STEP 2**
Use **L2** to aim the camera so that Harry's head is close to the edge of the tree wall behind him. Doesn't have to be that precise either.

**STEP 3**
Using the d-pad, hold **UP** until Harry runs off the edge, and then switch to **UP+RIGHT**. Harry should always grab some geometry. All grabs will be useful, even the very low ones will make it to the bridge.

**STEP 4**
Now quickly aim the camera, so that you can more or less hold **DOWN** to get to the bridge. The ideal position is so that you can see half of the door. That camera setup will allow you to only hold **DOWN**. Practice this and you'll be able to do it every time, saving up to about 12 seconds if done fast.

No Major Skips Tutorial (2021)

I believe No Major Skip (NMS) category is a great place to start if you would like to run HP1, especially if it is your first speedrun.

Speed=01FF (Superspeed cheat) by Redhot

Create a .txt file with NotePad/WordPad, and paste the following into it (two different codes for NTSC-U and the Canadian release):

Now save the file. For the filename, there are two possibilities: if you're using the US version, name it SLUS_014.15.txt , but if you're using the Canadian version, name it SLUS_014.17.txt (make sure to type .txt as otherwise it will convert it to a '15' or '17' file). For the location, place it inside the cheats folder of ePSXe.

Open up ePSXe, and then HP1. Now press Esc to go to the emulator's main menu, and click on Options, then Cheat codes. You should see a box on the left saying [0]Speed. Click on that, then click Enable and then OK. Go to Run on the main screen and then Continue, and when you press L1, you should now have Harry go at fast speed.

IMPORTANT: this cheat does not work properly on ePSXe 2.0 or 1.9.25; as far as we know, 1.9.0 doesn't cause any trouble. Console set-up can also work.

**Tutorial**
- 15 House Points for the web and rat in the first Flipendo block room
- 15 House Points for the books

**Broom Training**
- 30 House Points for completing all three challenges
- One Yellow bean on the pole; get it on the second challenge

**Wingardium Leviosa**
- All Yellow beans in the time trial
- 5 House Points when completing the lesson
- Get all Yellow beans on the bookcase and then the circle of beans in the corner
- In the area with the Common Room door, go up both stairs to the unlocked Great Foyer door

**Great Foyer & Hall**
- Go left to a secret bookcase for a Card and three Yellow beans
- Go up the right staircase. You can skip the student's trigger by walking along the right-hand banister. Enter the bookcase for the shooty game, then go through the door and pick up all the Yellow beans
- Leave the Foyer via the downstairs door - you'll be in the Entrance hall. Get on the banister and jump to the far-left door; the Great Hall
- Get 7 Yellow beans here, leaving the two furthest beans

**Malfoy**
- 10 House Points for the hourglasses

*Malfoy House Point count: 75*

**Incendio**
- Hit the second block on the left as normal (5 House Points), get the Blue bean, then the other Blue bean, then hit the biggest block for an extra 5 House Points
NOTE: If you had 70 House Points leaving Malfoy, get the small block in Herbology for the lost 5.
- 5 House Points for completing the lesson

**Enter Quidditch Practice next to Herbology - you can skip the student's trigger by walking around the right side of him.** 75 House Points for completing all three challenges

**Before Fire Seeds**
- After talking to Ron about Puffskeins, let the Puffskein eat the bushes on the immediate right, get the beans, then do Bertie Bott’s Challenge #1 (the secret wall)
- Get all Blue beans on the way to Gargoyle (including shooting the eggplant) and go into the secret wall on the right for a Card (which requires a shot into the ceiling where the butterflies are) and more Blue beans

**Fire Seeds**
- All 3 Blue beans from Gargoyle
- All Blue beans in the Fire Seeds area (there's a way you can get all three beans from the tree stump in one jump)

**After Fire Seeds**
- After getting out of the Gargoyle area on the way back, go right, pick up the Blue beans, and enter the secret wall for Bertie Bott's Challenge #2
- Instead of following Ron, go ahead to a secret wall for Bertie Bott's Challenge #3 (don't worry about the bean, you'll pick it up after Malfoy)

**Sloth Brain**
- Pick up the Blue bean
- Defeat all the Horklumps (mushrooms) for Blue beans and 25 House Points. You should now have all 70 required Blue beans.

*Sloth Brain House Point count: 115 (190 overall)*

[section=Dungeon]
- Ignore the bean near the door going into Dungeons corridor, go down the right-hand line.

**Potions**
- You'll get 35 House Points out of this section from various things.
- Get all Green beans from this section
- When getting the cat, pick up any beans you also get. You can take out future Green beans thanks to this (e.g. getting one means you can miss the bookcase after Yellow-Eye)

**Verdimillious**
- In the first Verdimillious room, get the box beans, then drop down and get the 2 beans on the box side of the floor as well as one on the other side, then make it back to the 'recovery' ledge, and you should be able to catch the second book's cycle if you were fast collecting beans. It loses ~7 seconds if you miss, but you'd lose this time if you got any of the beans omitted from the route
- In the second Verdimillious room, get the box beans and finish the trial
- 5 House Points for completing the lesson

**Cauldrons**
- Before Cauldrons, get all the Verdimillious platform Green beans as well as the box. Then go through the door

**4-Eyes**
- Get all the Green beans from the area, aside from the box at the bottom of the room before Blue-Eye. This includes one on the bookcase on the immediate right, just after Yellow-Eye, that's very easy to miss
- 5 House Points for hitting the Flipendo block after Green-Eye
- 5 House Points for defeating the knight before Blue-Eye
- 25 House Points for defeating 4-Eyes
- Two boxes of Green beans after leaving 4-Eyes. You should now have all 80 required Green beans
- Go left from the ledge and talk to Fred & George for Green beans password, then go to the Portrait to the right for Quidditch Armour

- When going back up the corridor, go up the other line of Yellow beans and *then* get the bean you ignored near the door (save the frames). You should now have all 50 required Yellow beans

[section=Upper Castle]
- After leaving Dungeons, go to the Merlin secret (bookcase right by the Common Room door) and then go to the Common Room for Fred & George Yellow beans password, then go to Upper Castle

**NOTE: You don't need any Red beans - an oversight in development means that there is no percentage added when getting Flipendo Duo.**

**Transfiguration**
- You shouldn't do Statue skip, otherwise you won't get the 5 House Points

**Peeves**
- Before picking up the parcel, go left to a secret bookcase for Cat minigame
- 5 House Points for destroying the cobweb

**Troll**
- 25 House Points for defeating the Troll

[section=Gringotts & Forest]
**Gringotts**
- You need all the gems in order to get a Card from each goblin. If you fail and don't want to reset, be careful when talking to the goblin - not trying again is the default answer; doing that means you'll never get that card in the run.

**Forest**
- After talking to Hagrid the second time, in the next area, go right. After the Fire Crab, there's a card that requires a shot into the sky

[section=Clean up]
- On the way to Hogwarts after Flute, visit Fred & George for Blue beans password, and backtrack past the Hut for the Portrait (it's next to Bertie Bott's Challenge #2) for Dumbledore's Card
- In Entrance Hall, go to the far right-hand door before the stairs to get Yellow portrait for Nimbus 2000

*Fluffy House Point count: 30 (300 overall)*

[section=Intro]
This is the Trunske route, named after the founder, a Youtuber named Trunske (funny, that). He was scared of the trolls in the dungeon as a kid, so he saved outside Quidditch after Sloth Brain, and quit. He then proceeded to do Quidditch League, but when he returned to the main game, he found Hagrid waiting for him to go to Diagon Alley. [section=Tech]
**Ledges**
- Jumping to grab a ledge is faster than walking up to the ledge, which is useful in various areas such as 4-Eyes.
- In some cases, you can jump towards a ledge at such an angle that you skip grabbing it; a technique known simply as ledgeskipping (sometimes ledgejumping). It plays a main part in the first section.
- Some walls have strange geometry, so that there are tiny ledges all over it that you can grab for interesting results. This is very useful to know for later.

**Walls** - Two walls (or objects) that are adjacent at an acute angle can be clipped into, allowing either for jumps that can be useful, or even vertical zips that send you to the top of the wall.

**Flipendo** - There are three tiers of Flipendo - Tier 1 is the basic small spell that moves small objects and defeats basic enemies, Tier 2 is almost fully-charged, when the wand is above Harry's head - this can be used to move larger objects that the game expects you to be fully-charged for, and Tier 3 is fully-charged.

To do fast/double inputs, hit the first of two (grouped in square brackets below) just before the button enters the circle, and the second just after it leaves the circle. The timing can be confusing, as you can't hit both inputs too fast (there's an 8-frame window between the two, roughly 0.2s/0.3s)

Incendio is fairly simple. In the time trial, you can either snipe the second block on the left (see: Very minor tricks playlist), or just run over to it and hit it. It is the only block you need to move, as you can climb up the first block on the right.

It's worth noting that most runners have their own slight adjustments, although Nitrofski's set-up is the general fastest set-up now - visit the Discord server if you need help!

**Malfoy & Quidditch #1**

**Quidditch League Abuse**
- After Quidditch #1, save as soon as you enter the Sloth Brain area. Quit the game.
- Go to your file, then Play Quidditch. Defeat Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw but **DON'T** save.
- Quit out of the Quidditch menu, and then Play Game.
- Go out of Sloth Brain Zone. Hagrid will be waiting outside the Quidditch Entrance so you can go to Diagon Alley.
[section=Diagon Alley]
Just a few things worth noting:
- You can skip the trigger for the entrance goblin by going towards the left; you can also skip him going back by holding down to get around him.
- In Galleons, turn upside down and stay there until after the third set of coins.
- In Wartfrogs, as soon as one frog is caught, the next one will vibrate its box, so you can quickly find out if it's on the same floor.
- In Peacock, there's a way you can get the peacock to keep going back and forth up the little straight on the left side of the room, but it's not yet known how to do it consistently.
- You can skip the trigger for the Owl guy as you exit the building by staying on the right.

- After knocking down the log, you can jump off the ledge to the right and land on the tree without grabbing it.
