Achieving 100% in the game requires you to complete every school at any cost. That means it is not compulsory to achieve a gold medal in each and every lesson that's provided within a mission. Runner by the name of 'faulux' is quite aware of this fact and the actions that they perform within their speedrun comply with the current ruleset. I hope that's clear now :)
