First of all, thanks for not saying "All Missions%". :D

Millie You do not need muscle for her, "just" 50% sex appeal and as little muscle as you can - you read right. The formula is so crazy that you should read it: She requires 60 "points". The formula is (everything in percent): points = sex_appeal + Millie_progress / 2 if you have 40% muscle or more: + muscle / 2 else: - muscle / 2 if you have 50% fat or more: - fat / 2 else: fat does not matter in the slightest You start out with 20% progress. You lose 1% per rejection ("not fit" instead of "Hi Carl").

To get rid of the muscle, you can use the starve system. For that, it would be handy to know how it works, exactly, so read the last paragraph of the post. ^^

I tested a few cars: a few sports cars, the Stretch and the Windsor (from the sex shop). They all give you just that: 50%. You need to be "near" the car for the sex appeal boost. Damaging the car reduces the boost, even tiny crashes result in a substantial hit in sex appeal. You can use this stylish hair cut for an extra 5% sex appeal. This way, you can lose 5% and still satisfy her. Wang Cars The phone call that unlocks buying the asset is unlocked by taking the Monster call, but to me that does not seem to not change the route.

Bunch of calls after SMB I don't know where to put all those calls, but when routing it, remember that no Mansion mission requires a marker. The Sweet call "disappears" after Vertical Bird and it is probably de-facto random if you get an RTLS or LV call (the optional Sweet and the Mansion marker calls are RTLS calls, the rest is LV).

Takeaways:

  • make sure you gain fat when eating, else it won't help much against starving

  • if you plan to starve (LS races?), make sure you have a tiny little fat when you begin starving ("you are hungry" message) so that you don't lose muscle immediately.

  • getting busted does not help against starving

  • the meal/amount you eat to avoid starving barely matters

  • Every time the hour on the clock changes, the "starve timer" increases.

  • After 49h, you get a starve warning

  • The next hour, you starve: ...1) you always lose fat ...2) ......- after 25h of starving (or [this is a bug?] immediately if you began starving without having any fat), you start losing muscle, too ......- Else, you lose health - but only if you have no fat.

  • You reset the timer by ... - dying (getting busted is useless) ... - saving ... - eating ...... - if you do not gain fat when eating, the countdown does not reset, instead, it decreases by a couple of hours (but at minimum 36 [13h until starving warning])

  • The starving timer increases when a mission changes the time (forwards or backwards, does not matter)

  • The starving timer cannot progress when/you don't lose energy starving when:

  1. cheat 'nofood' activated
  2. player has no control
  3. game shows >=1 menu (e.g. courier "results" or transfender car colour selection)
  4. widescreen is turned on by script
  5. cutscene is running
  6. co-op game is in progress
  7. player is in control of remote vehicle
  8. player is attached to vehicle (e.g. on a heli in last woozie mission)

So you have to wait for the calls after Bistro? If so then my strat would be to get out of the plane on mission passed, answer first call, fly to casino, answer second call, get body armor I guess and then answer final call to start Breaking the bank.

Ok two runs have been submitted so I have added the category.

I have found reasons to reject both runs though.

One of them does not include the credits in the vod and ends the timer too early. The other one does not properly restart so the muscle and fat stats aren't properly reset.

They're small mistakes, so I'm not going to reject the runs myself, if some other mod wants to turn a blind eye and verify these runs anyway, I will not step in.

Crook, yes, unless you do Up, Up and Breaking Bank after Bistro.

To avoid a 4min or so jetpack flight, you can land a plane near the casino and then fly casino > jetpack at airstrip > heli. Quick and dirty testing showed that the jetpack survives two in game hours at 4x game speed, maybe parking the jetpack near the military base becomes a thing (needs to be 2min to and from the casino).

Bulgaria

Why add AM in misc? There's already a handful of runs. Might as well add 100% in misc. I don't see how a run that is around 7 hours is miscellaneous.

There's no defined rules about the credits yet, if you're going to tell me it's how it is in 3 and VC then you shouldn't add it in misc because that's how it is for them too.

The time difference between AM and Any% is a 2-3 hour difference for the trilogy as well.

The point of "All Missions" was to add a balanced category as an alternative to duping without adding dupeless and make it the same run w/out dupes and split the leaderboard.

If it's located in misc the run won't be taken seriously eg. nobody will run it more than once.

  • The duping completely broke a game that was already unstable as it was.

"All Missions" is basically Any% with a little added on to it and really what Zoton calls it. "All Story Missions" because we do nothing miscellaneous in the run only optional storyline missions.

In regaurds to my run I'll admit I was resetting Any% for 4 and a half hours before switching to "AM", but the runs never got out of LS, never saved the game and the fat/muscle didn't impact anything to change the run.

I manually got my fat up at "Burger Shot" twice, one in LS and one in LV. I also did two gym sessions for "Key to her heart" one in SF and other in LV.

As of now there is a new strat that is a lot faster by not having fat/muscle so as of now that wouldn't have improved the run in any way in that perspective.

As Cyber said "No rules have been defined" this is because there was no category before any of our runs. I had the "You should know this already" from a lot of people about things I could've prevented in the run, but not having a category with set rules doesn't help the situation. Since it's the very first run and a terrible one at that I don't see the need to reject it and instead add clarification to the rules for next time since I really didn't do anything to modify the run and having an empty category w/finished runs doesn't make any sense. Also wasting 8hrs trying to get a category on the leaderboards isn't all that fun.

An easy fix for Derek's mistake imo would be to go back and highlight it again w/credits as for final time i'm not sure.

i timed the credits and it was around 6 minutes and 20 seconds (without skipping them), skipping the credits would probably be around 4 minutes.

I have a new idea for the route. After you do "Da Nang Thang" you start off closer to "Zero" than "Ya Ka Boom."

Since this is a thing the only optimization aside from waiting 15sec for "Zero's" call to start the missions you could buy property ater "Da Nang Thang", do Driving shcool, then go back to "Zero's." I'm not sure if that would actually save any time tho tbh. Would be a really small optimization if any at all regardless.

I heard that everyone has problems with the minigun glitch? Taking the stationary minigun in mid-air might be consistent, I have not extensively tested it, though and can't do that until Friday.

Architectural Espionage: Do you already use sniper and satchel strats? Attach satchels to the air condition units, snipe the guard (before the cutscene), take the photo, trigger the satchels with the right timing so that you are right at the exit when the "firemen" cutscene is triggered. This should be better than the Saint Mark's satchel strat. If you got a bike and have loads of hp to use, then it might be better to use a gun for the air condition units and run past everyone.

Edit: the "right time" for the satchels you need to find out. Trigger them near a guard and he busts you, if you leave the building between triggering the satchels and the "firemen" cutscene, it might mess up your map and maybe there are other problems I forgot. I tested this long ago.

I have no idea why everyone is having issues w/minigun glitch. I added another video in case people didn't understand. Also I was too lazy to look up 100% strats for "Architectural Espionage." Thanks for informing me :D

Changes to the GTA:SA leaderboard

The GTA:SA community has been deteriorating over a long period of time. Many top runners are not currently present on the leaderboard. This issue has not been seriously addressed yet, but an attempt will be made to remedy it now.

As of this news post, the San Andreas leaderboard will function in
