Hi I’m new to the grouded speed runs and speed runs in general but I would like to try it and I think a fun run would be a 100% bestiary and also do you guys have a discord

Cornwall, England

By 100% do you mean peeping every creature or all gold cards? Cause all gold cards would be insane. I'd be up for having peep all creatures as a category though for sure. No discord that I'm aware of. Did you want help with something in particular? I'm happy to help if I can.

Yea peeping all the creatures but gold cards would be super fun too I’d like help with glitches or other things along those lines

Which glitches you want help with?

All of them I’m terrible with that stuff

Haha alright well the only glitches I can think of are block cancelling which isn't really a glitch and the lean-to wall breach.

To block cancel you just wanna hit block immediately after the damage from your attack is applied. So with weapons/tools that have a 3 attack combo, the first attack does 50% damage, 2nd does 100% damage and 3rd does 150%. So if you're fighting something or chopping grass/stems you only wanna block cancel after the 3rd attack of a combo, if you block cancel after every attack, even though your attack speed would be faster you'll basically be doing 50% damage. That's what you wanna be doing as a minimum I would say. Since they slowed down the hammer attacks I think it's actually faster to attack three times with a full combo than block cancel every attack, so for molars and mints that need four hits no matter what, just do the same and block cancel after the third attack of a combo, even though the total amount of damage is irrelevant in that situation. Slightly more advanced use of it would be cancelling things like eating, drinking and bandaging animations during combat so you can attack again faster. The effect of a bandage for example is applied as soon as you press the key to use it so the animation of your character applying it is actually dead time which you could be using to do damage or give yourself more time to react to parry an attack (I personally find my character's hands doing something distracting while I'm waiting to time a parry).

With the lean-to wall breach it can take some practice to get it down but it's not that bad. You may have noticed that when you land after jumping your character dips down a bit as they absorb the impact of landing and if you have a weapon in your hand you'll dip down even further. This can actually push your camera through certain geometry and allow you to interact with stuff that's out of bounds, like placing blueprints or moving things already built like the lean-to. So the steps to wall breach would be: Build a lean-to. Set it as your spawn. Press whatever key/button you have set to relocate it. Jump next to a wall. When you land, your head should go through, so spam whatever key/button to place the lean-to out of bounds. Use the Give Up option in the pause menu and respawn. You should now be out of bounds! Be careful which way you face the lean-to when you place it, you spawn in front of the open side of it so if you place it out of bounds with the open side facing the wall you might respawn back in bounds. It's easier or harder at different walls but how you move can make it easier. The breach into the sandbox Zer0 found that I used in my super chips run at about 15:45 is a really good example caused I rushed my first attempt and didn't move away from the wall at all. With that one you wanna take a step back from the wall, jump, and move forward while you're in the air to be able to see through the wall. Don't place it too far forward either though otherwise you'll spawn falling into the void.

I'm thinking I wanna try and figure out exactly how you can get launched by a big creature moving the grass around because being able to catapult ourselves across the yard would obviously be super helpful as well as just mad fun. So I'll let you know if I figure that out. This post is a good example: https://old.reddit.com/r/GroundedGame/comments/we7ztr/well_this_happened/?ref=share&ref_source=link Seems like you just wanna be standing in the position of where a pushed over piece of grass is about to return to.

Anything else you want help with just let me know!
