Yesterday I submitted a series request of the NFL Blitz series, and it has been accepted but the thing is that they haven't made me mod of the series, and I wanted to be mod of that series since im the one who submitted it

The series request rules say that the site isn´t looking to add any new series moderators sadly. They accepted your request but didn´t add you because of that so that´s why. I hope this rule eventually fades away but for now, this is what is it is.

Some series do get moderators, like the [Granny Fangames series](/granny_fangame_series) so games can get added since game requests go to the mods

If you want the series' theme edited then you need to submit a support hub request

But most series don't get moderators now

There are a lot of unwritten rules that go into series requests. A lot of decisions made with series in the past year and a half (ish) have been entirely done going off of said unwritten rules. 

I have three notable examples. Two of which have been confirmed by site staff.

1 - There needs to be a Base series in order for a fangame series to exist.
2 - Triple-A series are, way more often than Webgame/Mobile game series, split into different series such as Misc., Web/Mobile, etc.
3 - Series moderators are only added to Fangame series most of the time, series that have an abundance of notable releases, or if a multi-game board is split into individual boards and made a series.

There are other instances, but I don’t know of them all. There are quite a few variables that are accounted for for series. Those three are the only instances that I know of for sure.

series mods aren't necessary anymore now that you can request all changes to a series through the support hub. the only difference in series without mods is game requests have to go through site staff instead of being circumvented, so they have to follow the guidelines

Series moderation just needs to be less strict, but src shouldn't grant series modding for everyone. It's still a disorganized mess atm, and probably will be for a while.

I can confirm that series moderation will get a revamp soon

i love how staff just got added the job of going over the support hub and changing everything all the series of the whole site ask for, instead of letting just the serie mod configurate it himself
