Sounds like you have timer ascending on for that category

Exactly what Tron said. Go into Edit Game, scroll down to the category settings and make sure "Timer ascending" is not checked.

I think that setting could do with having a less ambiguous name. I can't blame anyone for not knowing what "Timer ascending" means, but something like "Longest time first" is much more clear.

It might not be immediately evident to people that don't have English as their primary language but ascending and descending have pretty straight forward connotations.
