Hi, I am the Supermoderator for SM Flashback and was wondering if there is a way to create a sub-category for a particular sub-category in a category. To make it clearer, the Category is "DEMO", and it has "SAGE2018" and "SAGE2020" as sub-categories, and I wish to create a sub-category under "SAGE2020" ONLY for the different Build versions of the demo. Is this possible, or do sub-categories fall under all the previous sub-categories? Thank you
Currently there is no way to do that, all sub-categories are part of the main category.
For your case (different builds only for 2020, and only one build for 2018?), one solution can be to split the subcategory for "sage2020" into different subcategories for the different builds, along with the sage2018 version. So you will have something like "SAGE2018", "SAGE2020 - build 1", "SAGE2020 - build 2", etc.
EDIT: After actually looking at the leaderboard, I have some more comments. First, it's kinda weird name for "demo" as a main category. Usually the "any% and "100%" are used as main categories. If you want to keep the current hierarchy - another solution is turn the "SAGE2018" and "SAGE2020" into main categories, keep the any%/100% subcategory as it is, and then add one more subcategory for build version only to the "SAGE2020" category.
Hi, Thank you for your suggestions. When I created the page, most certainly, my thought was that since there are plenty of demos, runs of different demos would be put up, so I guess it stayed that way despite that proving to be wrong. I am thinking as to whether I shall implement the Any% and 100% as main categs as you had suggested, something that I will discuss with the discord. Thank you for your help
