I'd like to be able to use 2FA using an Authenticator app, this is more secure since it's harder to hack a phone than an email.

personally i hate having to go find my phone just to log in to something on my pc

This has been suggested a couple of times before, and I hope it does get added as an option. That said, it doesn't seem to be a priority.

@SioN there are authenticator apps for pcs, too, and nobody has suggested removing the option to use mfa for those who prefer it.
