Yeah I’ve had that. Not so much recently, but I’d mentioned it on the forums back when ads were first introduced.

it's just sad that in order to use the website safely, you have to install some kind of ad blocker. why can't src just not have nsfw/phishing ads at all

@merl_ this site used to be fine without an ad blocker, nowadays the site looks like adware

How hard could it possibly be to control these ads? Elo knows this is happening, they just don’t care because it makes them money. I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt at first, but they’ve had more than enough time to get rid of these ads and they haven’t.

@WolfCabinet are you sure you didn't accidently click on an ad or something?

The site works fine on browsers like safari, chrome and Oprah. It might just be your browser because I have never been randomly redirected to a different site. Even on my phone without an ad blocker.

@yummy_bacon5 I’ve had redirects where I’m 100% sure I didn’t click the ad. My fingers weren’t even on the screen. 

@tutterey I use Chrome and have had them. Like I said, not recently, so maybe they improved them somewhat, but it was definitely an issue.
