How did you feel the first time you became a mod for a game?

Not any different, to be quite honest.

Valhalla

Empowered. I feel better than the non-mod filth that submits to MY leaderboards in hopes that I'll accept their run a month later when I FEEL like it.

Busy since it only took me a few hours to get all the boards, rules, info, set up correctly.

Trust nobody, not even yourself, to verify runs

I shut my eyes in the hope that the horror cease, but I'm afraid that was not the case. The sounds of the room became amplified and echoed. Quickly I shut my ears at the startling terror I was experiencing. I wanted to scream out in detest, but didn't, as i'm certain it would've exacerbated the nightmare. I wished to either pass out or die, and if God were as merciful as they say he would efface my existence entirely.

I'm not a mod...But I do have...um...highly excitable dreams about the day I'm finally bestowed that dubious moniker. heavy breathing intensifies

Being a mod for a game makes me feel professional :)

Allot more work and hopefully worth while to others that wish to be part of the growth, other then that not much different from anyone else. It's just extra work to take care of in between normal stuff when you got the time to spare, if not then just don't do it, doesn't mean you can't contribute the same way you'd just not be verifying runs or managing the board.

To be honest becoming a mod was ok but having people run the game I got approved made me feel a lot better, even if one of the runners is no longer with us and his run was terrible, still made me feel great. Heres this thing I like and others like it enough to do what I did too.

To be honest becoming a mod gave me an E-boner bigger than when Ajit Pai heard that Net Neutrality actually got repealed. Also hey we all gotta pay Comcast $5 for every post we make on this forum.

being a mod on a game makes me feel more important than ever even though there is like 3-4 levels of Moderation higher than me

I was shocked to become a series mod for Soulcalibur as I was just running Soulcalibur IV at the time. I don't know when, but I noticed I randomly became series mod and the original one left. Ever since I've been trying to improve the pages and make them clean. Going as far as putting the correct information in the developers, publishers, etc section.

As for regular mod it's cool because I can help out and the other mod(s) have a chance to relax as I am quick to verify runs for the game page.
