I do not have an income source and cannot source a capture card. Would it be acceptable to broadcast my gameplay live to youtube and capture the footage on my pc? No cable splits. Just obs recording my youtube live.

Why would you do that? If you’re broadcasting to YouTube or Twitch then you’ll already have a video of the broadcast. Why go through the hassle of recording what is already, essentially, a recording?

Unless a game specifies otherwise, you won’t need splits or anything, just make sure you get an accurate time of the run after the recording.
