I am a speedrunner of a game called "rollerdrome" (really fun, consider giving it a try) and loads are a huge part of the time in that game, so i was hoping to try to figure out how to consistently cut out the load times so people on worse preforming consoles (me) are not put at a disadvantage. Since it is a small game, there are no programs that I know of that will automatically cut the load times out. Does anyone know any general purpose programs for stuff like this or livesplit settings? I dont know where i need to start.
Is it a console game or PC game? On console it is close to impossible to create a load remover. Otherwise look into load removers for livesplit. You would have to create your own one, you can check out the speedrun tool development discord for help and guides on how to do that. https://discord.com/invite/N6wv8pW
If loading screens have a component that is frozen the whole time, use Unload https://github.com/milankarman/Unload Otherwise you're stuck with manually subtracting loads via Somewes https://somewes.com/frame-count/
