Hey all, never done a speed run before but LOVE Super Punch Out. I'm not sure I'll have the time/patience to do a real qualified speed run, but I think I'd love to see if I can get as close to the lowest score with each opponent.
Anyone else make little goals like this as well?
A "real qualified speedrun" might seem intimidating if you're looking at the world record, but a speedrun is really just playing the game fast. It doesn't have to be anything more than that to be a real run.
I want to do a Super Mario Odyssey speedrun before the start of summer. I currently only know the route until lost kingdom but I'm planning to learn the rest of the route and optimize it as much as I can
i want to have the WR in alien hominid GCN, medium, i already dominated the first levels and i can spam the fire button, i plan it to do it on holidays
With me, even though it is not in speedrun.com, I just did a speedrun of SNES Mario Circuit 4 in MKWii Deluxe.
I like to find challenges within games to give me a quick speed fix. There's about a 6 minute segment in Castlevania II that requires almost flawless execution to get from point A to point B before a day/night transition happens and you are stuck for 3 real time minutes until the day cycle comes again. I've gotten it dialed in now to where I hit the transition with just a second or two to spare--- and I succeed about 60-70% of the time.
May not be exactly what you're talking about... but it's the way I warm up for a full run, every single time.
I want to get over 100 Speed Runs in Levels. No Full Runs at all. But, I also want to get WR in my favorite Racing Games.
- Need For Speed: Underground
- Midnight Club III: Dub Edition
- Street Racing Syndicate
- Need For Speed: Most Wanted (2005)
- Midnight Club II
- Need For Speed (2015)
Those are the 6 games that I want to Speedrun and get some Runs in. Hope I can get to 100 Runs very very soon. That would be awesome. Hope you all can get some good WR's in the nearby future. I believe in all of you. Don't give up on your Dreams.
