Hi, speak to the mods of that particular game if you think there is an issue. There are 6 of them listed on that page. I would start with nes who verified the run. Nobody in this forum can help with your request.
Well, I'll admit that actually is pretty hard to ignore, but the point that this really isn't the place to inquire about this still stands.
Like @ckellyedits suggested, this should be discussed with the mods themselves, starting with the verifier. In the case they don't give a good explanation, then perhaps you could scale up the issue and request leaderboard moderation from the site mods/admins themselves in this thread here.
Yeah the run is jank as all heck, but it was also 6 years ago - perhaps the verifier watched the live stream or verified it in some other manner that we can't see from the video? Regardless, nothing we can do about it in this topic.
Thank you, but I talked to a mod already, he said he doesn't play wr, he said he must stay.
I mean, mods are volunteers and have a social life to maintain, so when they usually skim through runs that aren't in top 10 to improve verify times, I totally understand that.
What kinda puzzles me in this case is that, even after being pointed out that a run's video is bogus (to the point where we don't even get to see the end of the game in it), they decide to keep it up just because "it's not WR". Unless there was originally a video showing the full game run (and I'd ask the mods again about this point in particular to be sure) or there's some other verification method we're missing here, it'd questionable at best to keep that run up on the board.
If you still get no satisfactory answer from the mods, like I mentioned before, you can always get in touch with the site mods/admins in the Request leaderboard moderation thread and explain them the situation.
@renkadam: That's not a valid excuse. Even if it isn't a WR, if the runner didn't provide proof of his run, it should be removed from the leaderboards. Because keeping the video there means mods accept the run, even if it doesn't actually prove it is legitimate.
If they don't care about verifying runs properly, perhaps they should think about stepping down as a mod and appointing someone else.
I mean, it's not like we're talking about 8-hour runs here: the length of the video is merely 3 minutes and a half. Surely they can take the time to review it.

If you really want to get in contact with site mods, you can go to the Request Leaderboard Moderation thread.
