Hi. So there is a speedrun in one game, and the speedrunner has the mouse that double clicks. His speedrun is literally unbeatable without double clicking and so I am wondering what should we do. Should we reject his run or should we allow macro for double click or something like that.

You sure it's not beatable without a macro?

I would reject the run as they have an advantage compared to other runners. And download other software to complete makes it less accessible to people as they have to other download software. Although, other games do have speedrunning mods and things.

@YUMmy_Bacon5 I am sure that it is unbeatable without a macro because without double click you need to click 2 times which is takes approximately 7 frames, when with double clicking, it takes only 3 frames. And I am talking about the category that lasts only 9 seconds so there is nowhere I can be faster than him. The only reason why I don’t want to reject his run is because when he is butterfly clicking, he can’t control that if it is gonna be double click or not.

There's not really a perfect solution for this. Personally I would reject the double clicking run, since it's unfair for the majority of runners to allow it.

@Merl_ He claims that he can click 20 clicks per second, and his mouse doesn't double click. And you know what? I believe him. I couldn't understand what happened with my clicking, but after research, I found out that my mouse Razer Deathadder V3 has a limit of 14 clicks. No wonder why it seemed to me that something was wrong.
