Hey guys,
i made a small video guide for a sub 3min speedrun in Resident Evil 2 Remake Ghost Survivors: Forgotten Soldier.
With this u can practice the basics for the real speedrun, get consistent sub 3min runs and won't get frustrated. No special skills needed. Just and everyman sub 3min guide. If you are interested feel free to post your results.

Yes, you'd be the first person to do a run of this.
Or not, if I figure out how to suggest a game here.
Hey, this is our speedrunning platformer about skating through tracks of cardboard and toys.
Our game is made for speedrunners, it plays like a mix of Counter Strike Surf and Trackmania.
We are running a beta soon and I'm hoping some of you might be interested in joining the beta here: https://subscribepage.io/stuntboost
Hi, been working on a game focused at speedrunning individual levels, trackmania inspired but you're a raccoon with a rocket gun and a grappling hook. There's a demo on steam and boards are set up on here for the demo levels. https://store.steampowered.com/app/1373980/Raccoon_Roller/
Here's a new game similar to Getting Over It I made where you control two arms at the same time by playing with a controller. If that sounds interesting to you, please try it out!

Its first run was posted two days ago:

I'd kill to have a speedrunning community pop up for my game.
spec on Steam (steampowered.com)
If you're interested, message me and I'll provide you a Steam Key.
corpo/ghost got recently released: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2844660/corpoghost/
It's a stealth action game but gameplay-wise there are similarities with Trackmania and THPS as well (time limits + minor differences in input can affect the outcome).
I've made a ice boat racing Minecraft Map: https://www.speedrun.com/Noices_Icy
If you play MC, give it a try
NES Motocross Champion has been added. To those not familiar with it, it's a lot like Excitebike, but with 3D tracks. If you like Excitebike, give it a shot:
Let him go Roblox is a horror story in the style of an old Roblox game telling about a Broken Spawn, who experiences the termination of friendship with his closest friend, Fire Ring.
Hey! I'm hosting a marathon in June this year, but submissions are already open. Any kind of run is allowed. :) Reach out to me if you would be interested.
Turner is a super fun and well made platformer that revolves around (lol) rotating the room around yourself to solve various platforming puzzles. It is fun, as mechanics that while easy to pick up have quite a bit of depth once you look into maximizing speed, and is quite in-depth boasting 410 levels (205 per half). The game also has a built in speedrun mode so the creators obviously hoped it would catch on as a speed running game.

A handful of years back I opened a speedrun.com page for Turner and submitted some runs. However, despite my efforts there was no one else that showed interest in attempting to run this game back then.
I started running it again this week and want to forward the challenge to others since running against myself isnt as fun so Im reaching out again to try and peak some runners interest. I think its a shame that this game doesnt get more attention as it is one of my favorite platformers and my favorite game to speedrun

Okay, well, if we can advertise: here's my spreadsheet with a list of almost every run I have done, at least those I was able to recover (there's a lot I can not recover): https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1T-kI2fiqdVg73CK_LzqdKjIHqduIjI7tWaoL9fcU75k/edit?usp=sharing
Of note is the "The Ultimate Multi Game Run" tab in the spreadsheet, and the only reason I'm posting here right now: although it still has a lot of work I gotta do, I plan to do a multi-game speedrun in a few runs in which I speedrun every single category I've ever done back to back. With sleep & work in between, of course, since it would probably take a month to do.
Starts with Astro Boy: Omega Factor "Birth+Rebirth", which is a category I did when I was a child back in 2010 before I even knew what speedrunning was I just wanted to beat it as fast as possible, and it ends with Super Mario Galaxy "Any%", unless I do another category that I've never done before. I have to do the common stuff like Super Mario World 11 Exit and 96 Exit, I gotta do the less known games I've done a run of such as Dora the Explorer: Dora's World Adventure, I've gotta do every 12 hour run I've done like Sonic Adventure 2 Battle "180 Emblems" or Mario & Luigi: Dream Team "All Bosses", and I've gotta do every random category I've done such as Pokemon FireRed/LeafGreen "Any% 4x speed" or Donkey Kong Country 3 "Water% 0.5x speed", or my personal favourite: Donkey Kong Country 2 GBA "Castle Crush 0.1x speed" (its as boring as you'd think)... Oh, and Dream Team gets one big exception, which is I want to do a run of each Any% route thats been done, so Dream Team's Any% run is being done ~8 times for each new major skip.
The list of runs I've gotta do is still WIP, I'm currently going through all the discord servers I used to be in to find any speedrun images I posted, and I'm finding a lot of stuff that I just do not remember doing (APPARENTLY I've done SMW GBA 96 Exit). I plan to start the run on July 1st 2025, that will give me enough time to plan out every category & create an ultra big splits file. The only exceptions that I won't do is multi-game categories such as the MultiMario 246 or DKC Trilogy runs, since I'm already doing each category that's in those multi run so I'm already technically doing a 246 or DKC Trilogy run. Exception to that exception is DKC Trilogy "Water%" meme category I did because its only 5 minutes long lol (touch water in each game).
I want to advertise for It Takes Two. It is great speedgame and if you wan't to learn more about it you can watch the Speedrun Documentary about an It Takes Two Race that I just made.
I wrote a book called, The Game Master's Gloves...
Twelve-year-old Hunt had one goal over summer break: to win the largest gaming competition in his state, a victory that could pave the way to a professional career. Despite spending countless hours practicing with his friends, he was still far from being the best.
Everything changed one evening when Hunt's dad, a high school computer teacher, brought home a dusty, mysterious old box that had been donated to the school. Inside, Hunt discovered an old video game system and a pair of intriguing gaming gloves. These weren't just any gloves – they were magic. The moment he slipped them on, a voice whispered to him, declaring him the Game Master. The gloves promised he would never lose again if he wore them.
Hunt rigorously tested the gloves, dominating local competitions and catching the attention of a renowned esports coach. Invited to explore the coach's state-of-the-art facility, Hunt believed his dream of playing with the best was finally within reach. But his dream quickly turned into a nightmare when he uncovered the coach's sinister plot: to steal his magic gloves.
Framed by the coach, Hunt found himself on the run, pursued by the police. With his future on the line, he had to clear his name while preparing for the ultimate gaming showdown – a battle that would determine his fate among the gaming elite.

First time on the forums, but I wanted to share this game by Kichex.

It's a simple but fast paced 2D platformer with pretty accurate ingame timer and solid hitboxes/movement/inputs. It can be played online or downloaded to your own computer for free (or if you want to support the dev, you can throw in a buck).
40 levels (seperated in 5 worlds) that take between 3-10 seconds. Pretty straight forward levels and quick continuations upon deaths. Good for ILs and FG (or even world runs). The dev has a fg run as well. Haven't found ground breaking glitches yet apart from a simple glitch that can be performed on a few levels.
No fg runs myself yet as I'm trying my best to optimize each IL for any and 100%. BUT i would love to see this game get some traction. There's just a few runners that have tried IL's or FG runs. It's simple, fun and not too hard. Easy going for platformer veterans, IL hunters or runners that are looking to extend their speedrunning portfolio with a short game <3
Maybe it will interest some of you, I'm having a blast with it myself! Would love to see some new runners and perhaps even new glitches? Hope you will like it if you're into these type of games :)
