Am speedrunning GTA 5, and my question is if the run is valid when i play my own music during the recording. Simple as that

Do what Pear suggested, but generally its ok as long as the game can still be heard. You could try splitting the audio (that's what I do) and just listening to the music on your own. If you're interested, it's part of this guide:
