A game that I think is fun to speedrun and deserves more attention
2 years ago

I have been causally speedrunning A game on scratch for a couple days called Glitching Over It. It is a Getting Over It fan game that was badly made and full of glitches but still is kinda fun and hard and the glitches aren't to much of an inconvenience and can help you especially during speedruning.

In the game there is 2 levels and they are both quite short. They both don't resemble Getting over It a lot but the first level has parts that look similar and have similar layout to Getting over It.

The game has no leader board but people are putting their times in the comments of the game. My best time is 1:45.47 for both levels (I don't have a recording of the run because I wasn't recording my runs but I will soon)

If your interested in speedrunning this game then you should do a skip that I learned. The skip is at the beginning of level 2 on the top of the house you spawn in. Hit the big brown wall really hard to glitch your hammer on the other side of it, then slowly rise your hammer and you should start teleporting to the top of the wall and back to where you were really quickly and if you rise your hammer high enough on the frame that it teleports you to the top, you can skip like half of the map. It's not that hard and only takes a couple attempts. That is the only skip I know exists.

If you have any questions or is starting to speedrun this game please reply it.

My new PB is 1:43:00 for both levels and it says my sum of best is 1:05 but I think it isn't counting my one of my splits because I deleted one of my splits because on my PB run livesplit bugged and didn't split and I didn't notice until I was about to do a different split so I did the split that livesplit didn't pick up and then a couple seconds later did the other split so it said that split was like 2 seconds so I deleted it's time.
