Advertising quiet games

Is there a section/thread dedicated to advertising quiet/dead/lesser-known games that you'd like others to speedrun? If not, could one be made?

While, obviously, I can't speak for the masses, I imagine this would be welcomed by people who are one of only a small few running a game that think it deserves more attention and competition.

A simple formula could be: Game name

  • Price/Platforms
  • Genre(s)
  • Brief description of the game/how it's run/etc

(Edit: minor formatting mess up)

I mean....I don't think anyone would be more likely to read that thread and say "oh hey, why don't I go run that game now" than they would be if games were discussed in the natural flow of conversation.

There wouldn't be any problem with making a thread like that (I don't think, anyway), just don't really think it would help anyone.

Could be the only one here, but I at least would find it helpful.

I prefer to run a variety of games, spending no more than a few weeks on each instead of months on just one game, so I'm always looking for new potential games. Normally I just browse the front page runs, but having a central listing of games that need more runners would be beneficial to both me and the other player(s) of that game.

Seeing little showcases of games people are working on or generally just showing off progress on a game seems pretty fun. I tend to jump around as well so it probably is something that would be interesting.

What I'd want to avoid is someone just throwing a game into the void that has had very minimal effort put towards it or basically an unrouted game they want someone else to run. As long as there's an expectation that some work has been done with it and some effort is put into the post, I don't really see it missing the point.

I speedrun several games that are cheap and are fun to speedrun. I would like some competition

Well yeah, that’s true. I mean for CubeCraft Games and Bike Race. Bike Race is free for mobile, and CubeCraft is free if you have Minecraft java

People might find it helpful to run small games at an attempt for getting a good score or even a wr, please post more!
