Greetings Programs!

Im hopelessly stuck in the late ‘90s and loving it! Armored Fist, MechWarrior 2, POD Planet of Death, Viper Racing, M1TP2, PS1 games, etc. It’s always 1999 in my man cave. My PC is an IBM Aptiva AMD K62 475MHZ desktop running Win98. I have an older Packard Bell for true DOS 6.22.

I found this forum after rediscovering POD Planet of Death. The CD came bundled with my Gateway PC back in 1997. I just beat the OEM version and am pretty excited about it. I have a Voodoo2 card and it seems you can’t get 3dfx unless you have a Voodoo1 graphics accelerator. Im ok with running the original version.

Anyway - I dig racing games, helicopter games, and most of all, tank games. Not much past Y2K interests me. Nice to meet you all. - Jim

Hi Pear! No - seriously, nobody in the world plays AF1 but me. Speed running all 47 missions would probably take 12-24 hours. You got me thinking, though….I have not tried to beat it in one sitting. I’m not sure I could do it without going insane!

Awesome to see you have original hardware of the 90ties PC era! I have some Toshiba Satellite Pro 470 CDT's I use for speedrunning. Hope to see you do some DOS runs in the future. The community is small but lovely.
