Im new to this (first time trying) and i hope to figure out how to put my speedruns into a software and add a timer

If you have a PC that can handle it, [DaVinci Resolve 16](https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/davinciresolve) is a great free option for video editing (and the one I personally use).

An editor isn't required to add a timer, you can use a timer such as livesplit to do it live.
