Disclosure: this route was developed by (I assume) ViperUK, and also used by TIJ. I'm simply putting it in writing for anyone else who might want to run the Sportsman Division. None of this should really be credited to me.

Before the Run

You want to begin the run in the 2003 Dodge Viper SRT-10 and have it quick upgraded to the top of the S-Class tier. As referenced in TIJ's run, it could be beneficial to put a wing on the 2003 Viper as it is quite prone to understeer/loss of traction, so consider doing that too.

In short: make sure the 2003 Dodge is selected, upgraded, and tweaked to your liking.

This run is timed using RTA, so menu navigation and run knowledge are very crucial to setting a low time, as are load times (I recommend installing Motorsport 4 to your 360's hard drive to speed up loading times).

Breakdown of Sportsman Run

Events 1-2

• 5-lap S-Class race at Maple Valley Raceway Short
• 3-lap S-Class race at Mugello Club Circuit

You don't need to do anything in these but try to finish the races as fast as possible. Feel free to spam the 'A' button during menus etc. (run timing starts when you press 'A' to start the first event).

Event 3

• 1-lap B-Class Top Gear (Bowling Pin) Challenge

When the events list appears for this, press 'Y' to change car and then spam 'RB' to quickly jump all the way to the right. Select a B-Class car (preferably an upgraded/improved one), then complete the event. You do not have to win the event, so feel free to ignore the pins and stick to the racing line.

Events 4-5

• 3-lap S-Class race at Sebring Club Circuit
• x2 2-lap S-Class races at Infineon NASCAR Circuit

Before starting Sebring (Event 4), you'll want to do the 'Y' and 'RB' quick selection and hop back into your S-Class Dodge Viper.

Events 6-7

• 2-lap S-Class race at Twin Ring Motegi East Circuit
• 3-lap S-Class race at Sedona Raceway Club Circuit

As you'd expect, just stay in your Viper and menu/race through these events as fast as possible.

Event 8

• 1-lap timed B-Class Autocross (Gate) Challenge at Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit

For this, you'll want to press 'Y' and 'RB' your way to your B-Class car you used earlier in Event 3. You can skip/plough through some of the gates to save time (each failed gate adds 5s to your lap time). Not sure what happens if you fail this one, I assume it would be fine.

Events 9-10

• 3-lap S-Class race at Catalunya National Circuit
• x2 2-lap S-Class races at Indianapolis Speedway Grand Prix Circuit

Before Catalunya (Event 9), change your car back to your S-Class Dodge Viper (this is the last car change). Run timing will stop when you cross the line in the second race at Indianapolis.
