Hey everyone, I'm quite new to mobile speedruns (and speedruns in general) but I wanted to ask about how one goes about successfully recording speedruns on a mobile device. I haven't played Flow in a while and in my first time back, I got an offline run of about 21 minutes on Regular Pack which really surprised me. I definitely want to get into the community but to do so, I'd need to know how to correctly record the run. Right now I plan to just use my phone stopwatch and a screen recorder app and just bite the bullet on the few seconds it will end up making me waste. If there's a better way, please let me know. I use an application called lonely screen to mirror my phone to my pc and record through obs. It mirrors through air play so i think you need an apple device to do so.

I see from your run that you run on android.

on reddit says to use AZ screen recorder or No Root from google play.

Despite the fact that I was actually the person being given advice in that thread I did not try either of those applications.

Edit: Since i can't figure out how to leave a moderator note on your run(I know it's possible but just don't know how), when you record start the video a little before the run starts and end it a little after. You don't need a timer in your run. I can look at when the run starts and ends in your video and use that to time.
