Hey everyone, I just wanted to reach out and address something real quick. Recently there's been a lot of runs being submitted were the timer doesn't start until after the player has turned off the alarm clock and leapt out of bed. I've been retiming these runs and verifying them. That's not a problem. The problem that is currently appearing is that they're being resubmitted with their old, wrong, times. This takes time away from me verifying other runs. To the multiple people doing that, please stop.
Now, a question to the community as a whole: Should the rules be changed, and should the timer actually start when you first exit the bed? I pose this question because it is possible to move your character's head position in the cut scene before the timer has started. This let's you click the alarm clock and get out of bed as you're starting the timer. However, doing all that and starting the timer at the correct time can be tricky and lead to inaccurate times. Please let me know what you all think so we can change the rules accordingly. Thank you!
