This is what i just recorded, and to me it seems that using jet does not really effect it at all!

I constantly go to that point without jet at least 4 times with no problem!

I've tried it w/o jet and it's significantly more difficult for me. I also get consistant slides using jet.

Yeah it is more consistent to use jet, I have uploaded a video of a some-what consistent jet-less slide in the skips and time-saves forum. But as i said its only some-what consistent and so can still not work properly.
