similarly, can you laugh clip in coil runs? if not, why?

you can use all clips in item runs except for item clips you can use all glitches in glitches if it doesnt require an item you cant use any glitches or items in glitchless

@zkxxy, I did a coil runs of CoLS For a few days ago, I was wondering if it's allowed or not (At least I didn't get the WR on CoLS, I got around 16 minutes.)

heli / tpose aren't allowed in any category, including healing items (except for grass and sprite in event items category)

does helth pot count as a healing item? Plan to drink the helth pot before a MaT speedrun so that i can claim 3 catagories.

helth potion is an event item, so event item only. event items category allows any item that comes from events, as long as it serves a game-changing use, unlike the evil santa and moyai.

as long as you dont use tpose / heli to gain an advantage (squeezing through gaps, avoiding killbrick damage, etc) it doesn't matter whether you use it or not, say if you are spamming tpose / heli while waiting / experiencing a walking simulator, that doesn't affect the run, therefore, if you do that, the (completely pointless) usage of tpose / heli is fine.
