Why completed file for any%?

The reason we use a completed filed is because when using a fresh file, you have to get gold medals in stages in order to unlock more stages. This makes it slower than having all stages unlocked and just getting bronze on stages with a score.
We see this as a more fun way of speedrunning the game, if you had to get golds in any%, it would render the category kind of useless as you could just do All Platinum Medals at that point.
