Pirates of the Carribean play set is the most buggiest play set to speedrun and there are multiple glitches that can ruin a run. These glitches on this guide are all ones that I've come across while doing attempts. That's why there might be more glitches that I don't know and that's why they might not be on this guide.

1. Game glitches your pistol and it won't work anymore. It usually show something weird on the right hand of your character like a sword or a lamp.

Solve: Change character.

2. When you go out to the sea for the first time you need to destroy the rocks blocking your path before getting out from the starting island. This point is where you will get the ship tutorial. Some times on this part the tutorial never appears or your ship won't stop and will just go forward while you are supposed to do the tutorial. This usually ruin your run and you lose to much time.

Solve: Don't press anything and let the game play the cutscene until the game tell you to do something.

3. Super rare glitch but still happened to me couple times. When you hop of from the rowing boat to the pier your character will get stuck to the pier when ever you try to attack with your sword or try to dive. This will happen even if you are far away from the pier. The game will just warp you back to the pier and sometimes the camera freaks out when the glitch happens.

Solve: Jump to the water to spawn back and this glitch is suddenly gone. Also changing character may help but I never tried it.

4. In the island where Tia Dalma is, there is a Kraken Bane piece that you will need to get. This piece is in the temple ruins. When you get to the temple ruins and have turned all of the statue pieces the right way you will be able to climb the statue and get to the piece. On this spot sometimes your character will get stuck on the second last ledge before getting on top of the statue. It almost feels like the game softlocks because you character doesn't want to move left even if you try.

Solve: Press down and left at the same time or try to wiggle to every direction. Also dropping down to the lower ledge and then jumping again to the ledge might fix the glitch.

5. On the island where Pintel and Ragetti are at, you will get the bomb and get to a spot where you are supposed to use cog's to move forward on the island. On the last area before getting out from the island you will fight Maccus. When you open this areas door and go through it while it is still opening, the game will sometimes glitch and Maccus doesn't show up and the game basically softlocks.

Solve: Don't go through the door until the cutscene for Maccus appears.

6. When going to the last battle against Maccus your supposed to destroy the barriers on the path to the bell tower where Maccus is. Almost always when you destroy the barriers the game doesn't recognize that you have destroyed anything and it wont let you move forward.

Solve: Try to destroy them from as far as possible and ones you get to the spot where the barrier was, you will get pass it. Another way is to go from the side or do the triple jump glitch. But most of the time you will have to just wait until the game finally recognizes that the barrier has been destroyed. This usually takes about 5 seconds.

7. Adding to the previous glitch this same spot can also softlock you if you aren't careful. On the second barrier don't try to bypass it from the right side because you will almost always get stuck behind another barrier that isn't breakable and if this happens the game softlocks and you will need to load the game again.

8. When you use the Kraken's Bane on the final battle, sometimes it will not work and the Kraken will still try to attack you.

Solve: Always look at the Kraken to be sure that the Kraken's Bane works.

Extra: These glitches happened to me only ones or twice and I have no clue on what caused them and how to avoid them

1. When I bought new upgrades for the ship I bought them while going to the ship to save time. So basically I was still on land. Then the game delivers the thing that I bought to the delivery spot on land but I was already almost on the ship so I went to the ship because it should also be delivered on the ship. Well when I got to the ship the delivery was not on the ship. But the weird thing about this was that I had previously done this same thing and that time the delivery was also on the ship.

2. When going to the Voodoo Cannon fight your supposed to get the cutscene where Tia Dalma is on top of the rock. One time I did not get the cutscene and I just sailed to the area but nothing happened. This has only happened to me ones and I have zero clue on what caused it and why I never got this glitch again.
