Death% Guide

Hello, I have been speedrunning Death% for about 5 months or so now, and was once third place, here is my guide on how to get a good Death% run.

Step 1;
Get a good spawn.
You are going to want to get a spawn in any four of these places (https://imgur.com/mEIZWP2)

Step 2;
Wait for cars to pile up, etc.
Usually, cars can spawn in fours, and if you have good rng they will pile up like seen here (https://imgur.com/mKlSr9w) if you really feel confident, you can even die while the cars are still sliding as seen here (https://imgur.com/ywFjhlh)

Step 3;
Luck
This category is very VERY based on RNG, Luck and timing, which at some points can be frustrating. If you are getting angry, take a break. I recommend drinking water regularly while speedrunning, in just any game.

How to correctly time your run.

The timer starts at the FIRST movement from spawn, so the first frame you walk after you have reset your character. Some people start timing their runs when they jump off the floating platform or when they first go up the slope, but this is incorrect. 

P.S. Also, for Any% runs, when you are about to reach the ending platform, looking down at the platform would be appreciated, so we can accurately time your run.

How To Get World Record (Any%)

1. Where to spawn
You want to spawn on the floating platform.
you should spawn near the edge of the FRONT!
that is the nearest edge to the hill

2. when you fall keep jumping intil you see the top. the slow down a inch then you will win

3. keep moving. GO STRAIGHT AND DONT CARE ABOUT THE CARS keep on hitting the space bar and w

or jump and forward.

4. if you see the end platform.
stop jumping because you might jump late where you will have more frames.

THATS BAD!!!

5. You win. make sure you completely on.
and just stop the video/recording.

How To Get World Record (Death)

I got 2 Place for death but I might get better or worse.

Heres what I got.

1. Less People.
They can push you making it a fail run. so try to look for a server with less people.

2. Good Spawn.

You want to be on the EDGE of the floating platform. keep reseting till your near the edge.


3. The Car.
Sideways car (on its side) a car that was flipped (you can see the wheels). or a slow car that is near you. Or falling near you.

4.DONT JUMP
you will lose frames.

Hit a car at the. edges of the top. It might be hard but it will help with a second of frames.

5.go straight.
go straight pretend you a robot try to figure out the fastest way to die from the car.

6. Have Fun

keep trying.It matters about you pb and all you want to try is to beat it
maybe then your Pb is the WR

Tip From WR

Spawn In the top  if not reset till done
When spawn do:

1. wait for a car to be close or jump and get run over
2. perfect jump = Perfect Time 
3. Practice till you beat the 0.62 (sorry man)
