Hello. I'm Deru-sama, the man who named the Buuhan Skip, and I'll be teaching you how to skip a lot of the game. They should all work on both PS2 and GameCube versions regardless of whether you use a console or emulator, so feel to have a go at it on either one. They can all be done on Any%, NG+, AND Hercule run - I personally count 4-1 and 4-2 as stages Hercule doesn't have to do, as 4-3's Cell fight is what ends Stage 4 altogether, and as such, Hercule doesn't have to be the one to defeat Android 16 for the skip.

==STAGE 4-2: Android 16 SKIP==

Android 16 skip is done in Stage 4-2, where you fight the Androids. It is so named because in order to pull it off, you simply beat Android #16 as quick as you can. Doing so skips a lot of fights with #17 and #18 that you'd otherwise have to deal with, saving you a bit of time. Android 16 is fairly easy to beat, only requiring two fights that can easily be done with Goku or another character if you prefer not to use Goku, but be careful as Android 17 will usually attack at least once.

==STAGE 6: SACRIFICE SKIP==

To do this skip, you have to have Vegeta and Fat Buu on the same space, which will trigger a special event that skips the entire Buu fight. This is a difficult one as you have to lure Vegeta onto the space by moving in a specific way with Goku, who he chases. I haven't exactly figured this one out, but if you beat Vegeta, you fail the skip - that's the majority of my problems with the skip, as doing it is no problem otherwise. However, to do it, you move Vegeta near Buu and then intentionally lose.

==STAGE 7: GOTENKS SUICIDE SKIP==

To pull off this skip, intentionally bring Gotenks towards Super Buu, then LET Buu defeat him. This will allow Buu absorb Gotenks, hence the name of the skip. Then let him reach the very bottom of the stage, which will activate the ending cutscene early.

You can move a few spaces upwards with Gotenks and skip everyone else's movement turn to make sure this happens quickly, though the fight itself can be sluggish - this sluggishness won't break your run, but it definitely is annoying if you had a bad stage earlier and don't want to wait too long for the thrashing to finish.

==STAGE 8: BUUHAN SKIP==

The main goal of Buuhan Skip is to keep Gohan from losing a fight - if Gohan is defeated even once, he is absorbed by Buu and you fail the skip.

Now, in order to execute the skip, you have to defeat Buutenks without letting Gohan die. This is very difficult, as Buutenks has 2 steps while Gohan typically only has one without stealing the tempura bun from another character - and he goes after Gohan aggressively even if there are other, weaker allies he could attack like Krillin or Hercule.

Quickly take your characters as close to Gohan as possible, making sure that if he catches Gohan, you beat him quickly, but in a manner that keeps Gohan safe - I'd recommend combo juggling or keeping your guard up, either one will work. Keep your other characters on the offensive, as Buutenks cannot really do much if you keep him cornered in a way you can beat him up without using Gohan ineffectively.

Once you beat Buutenks, it'll automatically display the dialogue as if you beat Buuhan himself, and congratulations, you're in the endgame at Stage 9. Good luck with Kid Buu, 'cause you're gonna need it!
