Was wondering if there was any research that has been conducted to know if PC or Switch runs faster than the other? I notice the runs thus far have been on PC so presumably that would mean PC is faster but again wanting to know for clarity's sake! :)

Hi! sorry for the late response. I have unfortunately seen videos and read that the frame rate and performance is unfortunately subpar on switch. I've heard that there's frame drops and fluctuates inconsistently between 30-40 fps. If you have a choice definitely go for the PC version for now.
