Necessary files for patching Control to 0.96. Allows for glitches unavailable on current patch as well as potential reduced crash frequency. This is NOT the full game and requires the other files within your EGS folder to work.

Steps:-----------------------------------------




1. Extract the downloaded files into your Control folder, usually found under [Drive Name://] -> Program Files -> Control

2. Go into data_packfiles in your Control folder

3. Delete all files that have 001 or higher in the second portion of the filename (ie ep100-001-pc.bin)

You need these files along with the downpatcher above to downpatch from 1.12 to 0.96. Unpack it and place the files in the main installation folder of Control where all the other .dll files are. 

THINGS TO NOTE: 
If you're downpatching the steam version you don't need to delete any files.
The savefile location after downpatching the steam version is located at: "C:\Users\YourUser\AppData\Local\Remedy\Control"

These are practice saves for the current Any% (Legacy, Standard) category, starting on each mission and a few of the harder tricks.

Any% Practice Saves

Fresh ready-to-run splits file with a split for every mission in the game.

Any% Splits

A savefile for running AWE. Has done Foundation first, so has tier 6 mods etc. To use this file, it is recommended to place the contents in the folder inside the savegame-slot-01 folder, and then load unknown caller from mission select. This save is made on EGS version, so it might not comply exactly with Steam version.

AWE run file

Control

Endgame save file with all abilities and weapon unlocks, as well as several decent weapon and body mods. Useful for running Field Training.
Place file in:
Users\AppData\Local\Remedy\Control\Default-Epic-User\savegame-slot-00

Must click "Continue" to load file from main menu.

Endgame File

A file to run Expeditions from. Has fully upgraded weapons, and tier 6 damage boost mods for Grip, aswell as the Eternal Fire mod, if you want to swap between. has 3x tier 5 energy recovery mods, dash energy cost mods, launch energy cost mods, and health mods. File also has jukebox in state where the first modifier you get is the most optimal one (Player and enemy weapon damage +100%). To use this file, it is recommended to place the contents in the folder inside the savegame-slot-01 folder, and then load unknown caller from mission select. This save is made on EGS version, so it might not comply exactly with Steam version.

Expeditions savefile

To access the save, place in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Remedy\Control\Default-Epic-User\savegame-slot-10

To load the save, choose "Endgame" from mission select.

Foundation DLC Endgame File

Contains the bare files, paste into one of the savegame-slot-xx folders. (00 is for continue game slot, others are for each mission select slot)

Foundation DLC run start save

a corrupt save file that 'enables' NG+ simply delete and replace your savegame-slot-00 in 

C:\Users\YOUR NAME \AppData\Local\Remedy\Control\  Default-Epic-User

Allows for skipping cutscenes/dialogue using scroll wheel. FreeScroll/unlocked scroll wheels are banned.

Scroll Wheel Cutscene Skips

updated version of the original CutsceneSkip script for AHK, which checks if window is in focus, and mouse pointer is visible (allowing scroll wheel to work in menus)
this version also adds a macro key bound to Z by default, which was said to be allowed when discussed with the mods.

also includes compiled script, which can run as a standalone exe and doesn't require AHK to be installed

Scroll Wheel Cutscene Skips & macro

Files needed to activate pre-order bonuses (including crafting materials on new game start) for EGS (legacy), GOG, and Steam versions.
This makes it much easier to craft different weapon forms in runs.
