Pause-skipping.

As of right now, pause-skipping is a very inconsistent glitch that requires more testing. Through spamming pause and interact, sections of the game can be skipped.

In the current speedrun, it is only used twice. First, it is used at the very start of the game to bypass some dialogue and get into the house quicker. Second, it is used right after being tasked with fixing the house's electrics to skip to the flamethrower construction stage.

I don't know why it happens or how to  get it to work more consistently. But, while it is slightly random, pause-skipping is relatively easy to pull off. Simply spam escape and left-click as fast as possible.
