Hello everyone! In my first run, I take advantage of a glitch I found to save a small fraction of a second. It's a simple glitch that I call the "Wrong Spawn Glitch." There are multiple versions of this glitch, but I've only found one that works properly.

THE "SIMPLE WRONG SPAWN": If you exit a save file where Keen is on top of Horseradish Hill, then delete the file by mainly pressing A until you actually get to the save file (at which point you press B), you'll hear the fanfare and music switch that happens when the level is selected. Deleting the file should then allow you to enter the new file, starting up as normal, but Keen will now be on the level itself as opposed to just to the right of it. This saves a small amount of time as you don't have to run over to select the level.

OTHER VERSIONS THAT DO NOT WORK: You can actually use this glitch in a few ways, but all that I found either softlock the game or break it entirely.

• You can use this exact method to start at later levels (which is actually how I found it), but if you do this the invisible barrier of Horseradish Hill won't disappear, making the level impossible to beat and thus softlocking the game.
• There's a version where you can start Horseradish Hill immediately while the beginning text is still present. Though this would theoretically be faster, completing the level results in Keen being warped to an OOB forest area of the map that makes progressing through the game impossible from that point forward.

IF FASTER VERSIONS ARE FOUND: Though it's preferable that you show your setup for the Simple Wrong Spawn if you use it, it's not required. However, if you use a different version of the glitch, it IS required that your setup be shown and be reproducible. In the event that a Wrong Spawn proves to be a significantly faster method than the Simple Wrong Spawn, we might consider making a glitchless category. That of course also applies if another significant timesave is found with any other glitch.

I might make a video in the future to make more of this clear, but for now I hope this helps anyone who wants to run this game!
