You just have to press 'esc' to open up the main menu when you lose control of your character right at the end. Then the game starts a timer for when it opens up the second menu. Then you just click 'exit to main menu' and start level 1 (timer starts aswell) and skip it. I consider this a valid strat imo because we're not doing anything DURING the run. We just happened to have that menu right as we started level 1. Also you can play levels with this menu on if you use the arrow keys note: you do have to enable the cursor though. This lets you navigate both menus

Thats what brings up the menu, yeah. But like i said, i dont count it as illegal since we're doing smth before the run starts. But thats subjective and debatable. The rules atm don't mention anything about it so i think its fine

I think that if it needs to be set up before the run and not during the run it shouldn't count personally, if it was set up during level 1 it would be fine because its part of the run.
