To start as an introduction, please watch that video above^^ made wonderfully by Dweather. This will inform you with all the basics of the Modern Version of the Game and Classic Version of the game.

- The Classic version of the game is the version that is the orginal made for Xbox Live Arcade in 2011, and the Modern Version of the game was made for the newer Steam PC release of the game.
- By going into the Steam Properties menu for Castleminer Z you can then set it from Modern back to Classic if you wish.
-Overall for distance% Classic version of the game is way faster in comparison to the modern version of the game.
-Playing on Classic makes it easier overall, I find that enemies dont agro on to me much often, and I feel like enemy RNG is WAY less brutal (that isnt proven, just my hunch).
-2000 distance is very dauting on Modern, but on Classic it is very possible

We have chosen to make a new category for the new Classic runs, simply because it does change the runs and game in key ways. I think this is really exciting thing because runners now can choose what Version/Style they wish to run. And more exciting discoveries to be made. Shoutouts to Squibler who indirectly found this awesome discovery, and then Dweather to really dissect it and understand it.

Distance% basics

Really intense and category that has a lot going on. Even though the runs are very short, there is a lot you need to pay attention to. 
-1st off all, the monsters, as you make your sprint for the 1000 mark or so on, many zombies will spawn as you move.
-Its really important to try fend them off and not letting them slow you down or kill you. Try to "de-aggro" as many as possible, this involves seeing one spawn in the distance and trying to move a certain distance away in a particular direction.
-stay out of dark regions covered in shadows, as once you pass many enemies will spawn.
-ALWAYS keep moving, never stop, 
- make sure you are going in the right direction, as it is easy to lose your way after you are hit or shooting all around.
-never mine or get resources, as your time will just suffer, take risks and make a rush for the end. 
-jumping seems to be faster
- there is alot of more to say as we learn more about optimal paths, and strats. but this is the basics

I considered uploading a shorter version of this, but decided that it wasn't quite detailed enough. 

As mentioned in the title, this is a quick start guide that serves as an introduction to the what, the why and the how for Enduranger%. If you have any questions, feel free to post them.

enemy%   zombies  basics

The goal is to kill a certain amount of enemies as fast as possible. Its really important to be efficient.
Its important to note in endurance zombies will spawn as you move further from the start, but they also get harder.
-I personally try to get a lot of kills from 100-500 distance region because it is really easy to kill a lot of zombies fast. 
-A lot  spawn in the flat sand regions too it seems, but there is a lot of RNG here.
-you should do the bullet glitch to have unlimited ammo
-It is possible to manipulate a monster spawner to get a lot of kills.
-go for the head when close, try not to use your knife unless you really have to.

Recording and Timer

download the program Livesplit. Then you can time your runs on your screen as you play. Also for enemy% its useful to make a spits (edit spilts) by tens of enemies.    I use OBS to record
