Hello I bough a copy of this game (french version) 2 weeks ago on ebay and i tried to install it with the guide provided here but the game show an error: disc not inserted so i tried multiple times to install it with and whitout the game setup.exe and I keep getting the same error. The only time something else happen is when i mount the ISO, the game launch in background and nothing happen, i need to kill the process after that. I though it was maybe a registry key problem so i tried to clean it with ccleaner and check game registry keys paths but nothing seems odd, i also tried to launch the game as Administrator, uncheck "read-only" box, check the if the cd-rom had bad sectors, restart my PC several times but nothing work.

For some reason your registry still has the "cdpath" value, which we normally get rid of during the step-by-step process in the guide:
Did you perhaps forget to run this command? That should probably solve the "disc not inserted" prompt.
In the event the command itself isn't working for some reason, you can proceed and delete the "cdpath" value from the registry with the registry editor.
I ran the command, checked registry, "cdpath" is gone and "path" is pointing to /data/ and i also re-done the files installation as it is in your guide. Then restarted my PC, i re-checked registry, launched the game and i still get the same error. I guess i'll play the PS1 version but thank you anyway.
Upon further inspection of the screenshots you shared, I noticed that the layout for your game folder is different than mine. The folders "audio" and "rtlibs" are supposed to go inside the "data" folder, but for some reason they're at your game's root folder.
I'm glad you have the PS1 version as a workaround, but if you wish to give the PC version a try again I'd suggest starting the installation from scratch, as it'd seem at first glance that something went wrong during the manual instalation of files.

PS: I'll update the guide and divide that part into two separate steps, as I understand why the wording could get a bit confusing.
As far as I can see in the video, everything seems to be in order according to the guide, so it's puzzling why the game is still looking for a disc.
The guide was made with the US version of the game in mind, so it's possible there's some unknown difference between the US and french versions of the game that might be at play here.
I'll try look into the issue, and hopefully we could have this solved in the near future. My apologies :(
For future reference, our friend @hdc0 has been taking a look at the buzz.exe file for the french version and it turns out this version presents some sort of DRM (ie. copy-protection) which is what was triggering that nasty pop-up @FOGamer was getting here.
Luckily, according to his findings these older DRM versions weren't very effective, so replacing certain encrypted sections of the code with the code from other versions to reconstruct the .exe file as it should be renders the DRM effectively harmless.
For legality's sake, I'm not exactly able to share the .exe file here, but if anyone ever finds themselves wanting to use this particular version feel free to DM me through here or discord and I'll be happy to assist you to perform the required modifications on your own. :)
PS: I'll be adding this info to the guide as well, so as to avoid further confusion towards this version.
