As was mentioned in a thread some time ago, there is no option for host tether distance in console and windows 10 edition, so what would be done in this situation?
I do not have windows 10 and console. But on PC with installed windows 10 you maybe can open steamapps folder and find your ARKs data and find folder like this:
steamapps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor
In that folder you can find "GameUserSettings" file (maybe it is ini file idk, but it consider all your singleplayer settings and your video settings. You can find string "[ServerSettings]" and put after that text like:
[ServerSettings] ListenServerTetherDistanceMultiplier=999999995904.000000
for example, my file consider that part of the text:
sg.IBLQuality=1 sg.HeightFieldShadowQuality=0 sg.GroundClutterRadius=0
[SessionSettings] SessionName=ARK #808716
[/Script/Engine.GameSession] MaxPlayers=70
[ServerSettings] ListenServerTetherDistanceMultiplier=999999995904.000000 RaidDinoCharacterFoodDrainMultiplier=1.000000 StructurePreventResourceRadiusMultiplier=1.000000 PvEDinoDecayPeriodMultiplier=1.000000 AllowRaidDinoFeeding=False PerPlatformMaxStructuresMultiplier=1.000000 GlobalVoiceChat=False ProximityChat=False
