For the very few times you might be in need of beating down an Android just press peek as the longer death animation starts to get out of it and move on.

Also I think I found a very fast way to get into the "extended" camera mode that you would usually need a torch panel to get into. I'll be uploading the video shortly... this should be open even more ways to skip areas....
