The most telling example being Anaconda, I think leaving records made with ultra shortcuts visible on the home page ruins the speedrun aspect of the game, because on the one hand some players may think that the record is possible via a normal route, and on the other hand it demotivates players trying every day to beat their records, only to end up not appearing on the home page because a totally absurd bug allows a random guy to beat their times by +10sec. Is there any way to remedy this? Thank you
This is a SRC-site bug. It is only supposed to show the "Normal" runs.
Ah nice it's finally been fixed, the boards didn't know which was default between normal & ultra since neither existed on tracks that didn't have a glitched route so they were just combined on the front end. I've ran a couple of the Ultra routes but not really a fan of it tbh, seems to add rng and coin toss skips depending on the track. I'd be surprised if they didn't get patched anyway so it doesn't really feel worth it to run them
They've changed the way barriers work with the new update, although it isn't impossible to do ultras, just much, much harder. I think they're going barrierless in the future by the looks though.
