Hey there - I was just wondering what difficulty runs should be played on as I may try and do a run of some levels myself (I'm not good; your WRs are safe). Acolyte is default but I know quite a lot of speedrunning communities settle for lowest difficulty. Cheers in advance, and surprised to see this game isn't popular AT ALL on here lol.

the higher difficulty levels are fastest cuz the enemies run faster towards you, the source of their death. the difficulty level doesnt matter as much as the sword you use, only the 3rd and 4th swords are viable. basically the main gameplay loop is spam heavy then use sword active trigger to fill to full and repeat. once you learn to hit the active trigger above 70% of the time the game flows nicely. focus all your effort in improving on mastering the sword active trigger, make sure to use the 5th pistols too, they are the only viable ones byfar. use whatever armor feels best for you, the 5th is recommended for intermediate players with the 6th being reserved for qte masters

Yeah - I definitely agree with the pistol and sword viability. Will keep this in mind. Fun game, but I am still very much learning lol. Thank you!
