## Download guide:

1. Go on [SteamDB's manifest page for Hollowbody](https://steamdb.info/depot/2123641/manifests/).
2. Check "Steam console" for the copy format.
3. Look for your desired patch and click on the "copy" icon on the rightmost column.
4. Open the Steam Console by typing "steam://open/console" in your browser's URL search bar.
5. Paste what you copied off of SteamDB's website. (e.g. For Patch 5, the command should look like this: "download_depot 2123640 2123641 5323658369766370790")
6. Enter the command and wait for it to download.
7. Once downloaded, the downpatched version of the game will be found inside your Steam folder: ./Steam/steamapps/content/

## Patch changes that are relevant to speedruns

**Patch 0-2:**

- Base Game

**Patch 3-4:**

- Prologue Skip

**Patch 5:**

- Increased shotgun damage by 40% (125 -> 185)
- Reworked melee weapon damage values (Makeshift Club 25 -> 40, Coil Wound Guitar 35 -> 50)

**Patch 6-8:**

- Run speed increased in all exterior locations
- Additional puzzle section added to High Street Part 1 (Burning Building)
- Additional puzzle section added to High Street Part 2 (Use scissors on hands)
- Additional puzzle section added to Underground Station (Explode the brick wall)

**Patch 9-10:**

- Added Third Person Camera
- Improved enemy AI and player detection for all enemy types
- Reduced enemy collision size when colliding with player, mitigating instances of enemies blocking player in tight corridors
- Removed delay and animation before restoring player control when using Repair Spray
- Adjusted trigger for nightmare sequence in Sewers
- Increased Mica run speed slightly for exterior and interior locations
